The first two minutes is just him struggling to explain just how important MatPat is and how no body was really sure if he was retiring until Mat actually said he was. The amount of stumbling and stuttering is impressive.

It's funny looking at the video, I could have sworn Bob had a script in front of him judging by the reflection of his glasses and the way his eyes keep darting away. But the way he's speaking, and the amount of tangents, would imply that this is him off the cuff. Bob Chipman, too incompetent to read his own writings properly, or write in a way that doesn't sound half-baked.

In a sense, I agree with Bobby in that you don't have to know much about video games to make an adaptation of TLoU, but not for the reasons he's implying. Instead, it's because it was basically written as an interactive movie from the start, and all they had to do was cut out the gameplay sections and bam, there's your script. For games that are more games and less walking simulators, then I would expect you to know more about the medium if you're trying to make a film adaptation. Also, Cinema Robert misses the point. The point is that GRRM uses "muh gray morality" and thus it's an inferior work.

I've said it earlier, and I'll say it again: it fascinates me how Tolkien lived through World War One and produced a work of sublime beauty and grandeur that explores the noble facets of humanity (courage, humility, honor), while GRRM dodged the draft and wrote a grimy tale of degradation and the worst aspects of humanity.
