Womp wompppp. Wonder if or when they’ll release any info on the dad. I know he was imprisoned for like 7 years for involvement in the intifada but I couldn’t find any of his charges online. The IDF spokesman released an image of Hamza Dahdouh's name and military number in a Palestinian Islamic Jihad document listing members of their electronic engineering section. Before his (hopefully painful) demise, he was the head of rocket operations in one of their sectors:

Hopefully many of his colleagues and his fat fuck of a father meet him in hell soon.

That was one of the dumbest sentences I've read on this site.Israel is committing atrocities and the Palestinians are suffering but I fail to see genocidal intent. Israel just doesn’t care about the Palestinians. They want to destroy Hamas, find the hostages, and as far as I can see, little else.
No. What I mean is that Israel doesn’t care about what happens to the Palestinians as a result of their actions. When Israel blows up a building that they’ve determined is a target, they tell the people in the building that it will be bombed, but they do not go out of their way to ensure no civilian is in the building when it is bombed. That was one of the dumbest sentences I've read on this site.
So if Serbs did not care about Bosnians and just wanted to destroy the Muslim insurgents, it means that Srebrenica was not a genocide?
iirc they quit "knocking" very early into thisthey tell the people in the building that it will be bombed,
It appears that Israel did so under the justification that they already called for mass evacuations. While that will probably be argued as a prior warning, I can’t see it as such. People need to be directly alerted to immediate harm.iirc they quit "knocking" very early into this
still, it was neat to see it actually happen on the live cams before they stopped, tbh I didn't quite believe it was real
Nothing to grapple with in my mind - Goes a layer deeper is all. The citizenry of Gaza never once acted against Hamas. Never attempted to remove them, overthrow them, fight them, or report their activities - The latter is pretty obvious by Israel`s relative intelligence deficiencies on Hamas positions going into this. In many cases, these people benefited from and even profited from supporting and hiding these people. It appears that Israel did so under the justification that they already called for mass evacuations. Fucking hell, Netanyahu, why? Damn it, I did not need the moral dilemma of the Jewish State being genocidal as a Jew. Here’s to grappling with that for the next few days.

Israel has dropped more than 25,000 tons of explosives to date Source, for a total kill count of just over 23,000 people Source. It appears that Israel did so under the justification that they already called for mass evacuations. I oscillate between accepting the inevitability of the violence and lamenting it. For as much as Palestinians may collaborate with Hamas, how much can you blame them? It’s a martyrdom culture there and every Israeli bombardment fuels that culture. How is leaving Gaza in ruins going to convince Gazans to reject militant extremism as their political route?Nothing to grapple with in my mind - Goes a layer deeper is all. lol they're still dead, ain't they?I'm pretty sure they do better with machetes in Africa, than Israel does with modern weapons.
At this rate Israel will need over 2 million tons of bombs to genocide the Gazans, just terrible efficiency.lol they're still dead, ain't they?
Literally the exact same logic Osama Bin Laden used to justify 9/11Nothing to grapple with in my mind - Goes a layer deeper is all. The citizenry of Gaza never once acted against Hamas. Would stopping them have been easy? No, of course not, it would have been a violent hell as you're dealing with an insurgency that doesn't value your lives as anything more than propaganda. But there was a choice to stay there knowing they are little more than a living shield to a terrorist organization. A choice to recognize that there was an arms cache being built up under your feet and to fucking leave. But these people didn't do anything to help themselves. They chose to ignore, tolerate or even support the terrorist organization. And now the hammers come down, and they're caught in the middle of the shit storm they condoned? This is the consequence of their own decisions and inaction. And crying about it won't change that.
Doesn't make the bloodshed acceptable or desirable, but it does make it expected and understood. They're not losing their homes and lives because of events that could never have been foreseen by a reasonable person.
