It's always a massive red flag when someone has doxed more children than child predators, but when they're appearing to facilitate the victimization of these minors it absolutely raises deeper questions. Is he simply so small-minded that all he sees is an opportunity to get an own over a lolcow and seizes it regardless of all other considerations? Does he get off on the implication that his doxing of these children is opening them up to real world harm? It's all nasty.

Regardless of the reason, it's worse than anything Phil has done. Phil has never encouraged child predators to prey upon specific children by directing them to "half-naked" images of them. That moderator whom he is praising was the one who would threaten to ban you for "shitting up the forums" if you raised concerns about this creepy children doxing shit. Good riddance.

Doxxing DSP's paypigs has happened here for years, including direct family; I agree that someone else doxxing children unrelated to them is a bridge too far... but I doxxed my own kids, had them on my streams drawing pokemon and "the fat man" they enjoyed being on camera, and having people watching judge which one drew the better picture. I got similar blowback for doxxing my kids, but, they are my kids; which I think makes it a bit less unsavory.

I remember the Side Scrollers Podcast shitstorm, and I didn't really care, or care to know, about the whole thing with interviewer supposedly being a dent. I just saw a few highlights like "Craig lives in Denton. You can't make this up," lol'd a bit, and moved on. I did think it was pretty weird that the subforum was doxing the interviewer this aggressively, because I did go to the Side Scrollers' YouTube channel, quickly skipped through a few videos, and thought Craig was rather unremarkable. Never would I have guessed that they would dox his kids or refer to their half-naked photos.

They were absolutely insistent that Craig was a grifter or some kind of dentractor, based on some vague past experience. There were a few voices of reason, like @EmpGulcasa saying, "You know, you are probably proving Phil right when he says that detractors are a bunch of trolls who go after anyone and anything that has anything to do with Phil," but it didn't seem like there was much action behind it. Clearly, there wasn't. This is just embarrassing.

There are at least two instances where he doxed children with it barely relating to Phil. The most recent was when Stuttering Craig was going to interview Phil, and his children were doxed by name, photo, and address. The other time was when a former moderator of Phil's sister had a newborn baby. He doxed the baby's name, photos of it, and its birth weight.

Which is fair. If people want to dox Craig then that's fine. Public figures don't become immune to doxing because they have children. Even without the whole "there's half-naked photos of them" aspect, it still was a disconcerting spectacle. You should scroll through the posts around the time when Craig announced his plans for the chat with DSP. They were relentlessly mocking him, calling him names with almost the same intensity as they would Phil. All because they suspected he was a grifter, without waiting for him to do the actual podcast.

This would be like doxing and mocking the bartender who serves Patrick Tomlinson drinks at the pub he frequents. It just does not make a lot of sense. Nothing about Craig warranted the level of vitriol that circulated in this subforum. Of course, everyone was silently embarrassed when it turned out that the podcast was possibly the funniest event in all of Phil's lolcow history. Craig did not throw any soft balls at all. It would not surprise me if Craig disagreed with everything Phil has ever said, other than that "the trolls are mentally ill". That part he probably agrees with, and he would have every reason to do so.

The child of two lolcows is LEAGUES different than the child of the sister to a moderator of a lolcow, or the child of a man who's interviewing a lolcow. There's your difference though: the parent is a well-known lolcow already. Nothing about Craig suggested he was a lolcow, and he continues to be not a lolcow. Even then, posting unremarkable pictures of babies in a hospital bed or cradle is not the same as unsubtly urging forum users to check out the half-naked pictures of adolescent kids. The devil is in the details. As said, though, the dox and subsequent mockery was gross even without this aspect entirely, it just made it even worse.

You act as if the two things were mutually exclusive. They're not. It's possible to think that people are retarded for posting pictures of their children on facebook, and it's possible to think that people who draw attention to random children - just because they are tangentially related to DSP - are retarded as well.
It's not pearl clutching, it's simple distaste at people involving children for no reason at all. It's one thing to for a child to be born to a mentally ill tranny who can't stop whining on twitter and oversharing constantly every single day, talking about being a fake jew and trying to flee to israel because trump was elected, it's another for a child to be born to a relatively normal person whose only crime is interviewing a fat Italian and posting family photos on facebook.
