SCP Foundation - Creepypasta with roid rage - now ITT: SCP fans

I've been reading the RCP Authority Wiki (thanks for the various people who linked it) and it tends to be better quality than the SCP foundation of late and the Authority is better thought out but I think that's because it was designed to be like that rather than the more organic way the SCP Foundation was formed but I was skimming through the lesser anomalous locations and found this -

Item #: CWC-173

Object Class: Euclid Archon Keter Archon

Special Containment Procedures:
[ERROR: DATA EXCEEDS ALLOWED LIMIT]
REVISION 4-1
The Foundation should not contain or otherwise interact with CWC-173. Information about CWC-173, except for his anomalous effect, should not be present in any official documentation of the Foundation.

This file should not exceed 200 words. Staff members that are affected by CWC-173 are not allowed to edit this file.

Description: CWC-173 is a human male. CWC-173 possesses a strong memetic effect that forces an unknown percentage of human population who know about him to extensively research and catalog CWC-173's biography and current activity.

CWC-173 caused a significant damage to SCiPNET, as affected staff members flooded the system with information about CWC-173.

Further information about CWC-173 is available on a public Internet resource at https://███████.com

Any further requests for researching CWC-173's "believes" shall not be accepted. We already spent a small fortune just to proof that CWC-173 is not a goddamn Keter with divine abilities.

I feel like SCP-870 did this "schizophrenic delusions are actually real" concept better. I saw the twist in that one coming a mile off. It's a good concept but it's buried beneath a wall of logs that feel like padding.
Short and to the point while still establishing a threat. Very nice. That 7000s article didn't really explain what it was, nor how to contain it, or anything really.

Lest we forget that this wiki is supposed to be an in-universe archive for anomalous creatures contained by the Foundation, so it's kind of immersion breaking imagining a scientist to look through 10k words of text* while a world-ending Keter class is goring all the personnel.

*that's also a metaphor for transitioning or some shit

I remember getting lectured (the smug internet post kind not the actual lesson kind) a few years ago during early lockdown era by someone who was into nu-scp shit when I brought up the immersion breaking shit in the newer stuff. They basically kept doing fart huffing inconsistent gaslighty type shit like "ohhh well see there's no such thing as canon canon is overrated anyways. What even IS canon? It's better now this way/always been this way and you're too nostalgia blinded to see!". I later found out somehow that person had actual connections to some California media companies despite constantly waxing poetic about "marxism". Nobody notable in media obviously, just one of the many countless insufferable middle manager types in every fucking industry now. Still, it was funny in a cosmic sort of way.

Translation: "What do you MEAN you don't like the more recent slop!? You're supposed to consume it and not question anything!"

Weirdly the shit where these types respond by saying shit like "oh i guess you don't like being CHALLENGED and want everything to stay the same as it was years ago!" means the same thing but also frames it like you're the one seeking to mindlessly consume and not question shit. No bitch I had a critique, you're the one getting pissed over being challenged.

I like to be challenged by reading competent works that aren't written by soylent-drinking fuckheads who think the Homestuck SCP is good.

8000 contest is out and without surprise it's got the worst theme so far - Fantasy. I expect each entry will either be a "portal to cool place that my OC character fell into" novella or "fantasy ogre works at mcdonalds" subversion.

The upside is that gives Tufto free rein to do what he does best. He won't win though.

True, but I'd rather read a skip about Fantasy Ogre Works at McDonalds than every LGBT-themed SCP, you could even try to do a double subversion with it where after you make an order, the door leading out is into a world of fantasy like it's SCP-093. That's just me being optimistic, we all know that the SCP-8000 winner is gonna most likely be a boring-ass novella.

Edit: For fuck's sake I only now just realized that it would be called "What Would You Like To Ogre?"

Once again I am asking for an end to this world.

Fuck me, it's not even a ls creative as "homestuck is a memetic hazard". It's just troonsprak, but with science!!!!11
An actual "homestuck scp" would have potential given the entire premise of homestuck involves a video game that when played on a computer has the ability to warp physical space and initiates the start point in a timeloop where the world is blown up. The "endpoint"in the game's creation loop is that the game's info gets sent back to before the supposed creation of the game in the form of an ancient looking frog temple. That kind of thing is an anomalous object that would probably definitely need to be contained, if it even could be. Best "explanation" for it being contained would be someone left a note in the stuff that got sent back to the past to make sure it never gets played by anyone which would result in a splintered outcome where nobody dies and the planet is still inhabitable.

There's a lot of things from Homestuck that could actually make interesting SCPs with some tweaking. Like Lord English, a time traveling alien that's born at the end of the universe, then time travels backwards to ensure his own creation. Lotta stuff to work with something odd like that if they really wanted to pay homage to the webcomic.
