Final Fantasy XIV - Kiwi Free Company

I won't link it here because it's genuinely disgusting but this poster:

Heroman3003, has a Twitter account by the same name as well as a FurAffinity account. There's an interesting pattern where some of the worst posters on the forum consistently use the same name across a number of sites and make it easy to see how readily they expose their deepest, darkest fetishes to the world. I've been researching these individuals for a while now and the recent push for 'representation' and pronoun focus is not authentic at all. They're just emboldened now because they have the eyes and ears of 'queer journalists' like the one linked a couple of pages back who back them up with fluff pieces and hit pieces as needed.

My guy, the most degenerate furfags always have the worst opsec. This is not a thing limited to XIV.

I’ve always played a Hyur. Guess I’m basic, but I wouldn’t wanna be associated with a certain part of the FFXIV community.
I'm a fem Viera and also an actual woman. I can assure you that I am not into futa nor do I RP futa. Yes, some of us are normal even though we play THOSE races.

They do it because they want people to find them on other platforms. You can't just stroll into a game's forum and shout "I'm a degenerate furfag" from the nearest soapbox and expect to get away with it scot-free, so they keep the username the same as on those platforms so that like-minded individuals can find them.

And then when they do suspect shit, and you point to the fact that they have a very suspect online footprint and are typically involved in very suspect things, they always turn around and cry that you're stalking and doxxing them.

The japanese are not going to start putting gay pronoun bullshit into their games.
does japanese even have pronouns? from my surface knowledge and what I see from MTL, it wouldn't work to begin with, or would be more complicated than a retarded "xir/xer".

Started my Miner Relic tools quest. Already at the Augmented Dragonsung Pickaxe and that's been more interesting the bit of post-patch MSQ I've played by a nautical mile

More like on the localizing side. Japanese doesn't have gender terms that work like America. Most expressions where the speaker refers to themselves isn't based on gender, but more like...just a preference for speech/dialect. For example, you have Watashi, which is used by both men and women and is largely a neutral way of expression and the most common one afaik. You have Atashi which is used by women, specifically women who want to refer to themselves in a more feminine way. Mostly used by very cutesy girls but it's not exclusive to them. Even tomboys can refer to themselves as Atashi. Then you have Boku which is mostly used by boys, specifically younger boys and also girls who are considered more masculine, basically tomboys use Boku as well. After that is Ore, which is a masculine way to refer to yourself. Just like Atashi is used mostly by women, Ore is basically the male counterpart. But I should stress that this isn't exclusive to men. Women can use it too, it's just a much smaller percentage of them actually do. Then there is Watakushi, which is basically like a super proper and posh way to refer to yourself. Mostly used by people in nobility or in positions of power. It's mostly seen as like an old timey word though like ye olde english. You also have Oira which is an alternate form of Ore, used mostly by country bumpkins.

Those are just the ones I know off the top of my head but there are tons more terms that are separated by dialect alone for varying different ways people want to express themselves in their speech.

I'll use an example of a character from an anime. Dororo is a little girl who refers to herself as "Oira" every time she speaks. In the latest iteration of the anime, there's never any speculation of her gender. People just assume that she's a boy because of the way she refers to herself but she never expressly says that she's a boy. People in the show just sort of find out that she isn't. Despite knowing that she's a girl, she still refers to herself as "Oira" when she talks. In the west, people just assume that she's living the life of a boy willingly when she never states that she does. They think because she refers to herself in a masculine way that it makes her a boy when it doesn't. Because she behaves boyishly that it makes her a boy. In the retarded west, you have people claiming that she's "trans" when in the show, nothing of the sort ever implies that she wanted to be a boy. She just never makes her gender a big deal and even after people find out, in the show in japanese, she's just a girl who talks in a masculine way. You know...A TOMBOY. That's just how she talks and that's it.
Post vagina and tits pics or you aren’t a woman
Nice try, but I'm only mildly retarded, thank you.

Adding a bit beside DopeyCunt, there is "uchi" as "I/me" for women, it usually means "house/home". But that is for really close relationship and casual or as a collective. March 7th uses this in Honkai Star Rail.
Paimon uses "Oira", only English Paimon refers herself as "Paimon" in English instead of first person pronoun. I guess this localization treating her like a kid, similar how anime kids referring themselves as their name to be cute. Think of Klee, Qiqi and Yaoyao.

For third person, there is "kare" and "kanojo" for him and her respectively, but not exactly common use. Since Japaneses refer third person with names or appropriate words for third person. Both "kare" and "kanojo" is really objective, missing the hierachy in social status interaction, they can come off impolite. There is also "Ano hito" for this person, not common use either.

Damm came for the ff14 thread, stayed for the small Japanese lesson(im currently learning Japanese since i wanna play SRW games)

So ive decided to switch audio to Japanese after listening to Wuk and gotta say the difference in general is heaven and earth. In Japanese it feels like they put more emotion and voices fit better to the characters. Not to shit on the english VA since they do a good job, but i feel Jap dub is slightly better and this is coming from someone who enjoys yshtola English voice. Small side note but as i was listening to urianger and he sounded weirdly familiar in Japanese so after research i discovered that he is the same dood who voiced Judai/Jaden in yugioh GX.

Wuk Lamat's English voice finally got me to switch to Japanese voices fulltime instead of just to hear how some bosses sound in Japanese. Her voice in English reminded me of the Krogan female voices in Mass Effect Andromeda. Not sure what the fuck they were thinking hiring a troon to voice her but it's awful.

Why not have the new world utterly fucked by the final days? After all it was happening everywhere on the planet and we had no real way to contact them so you'd think they'd at least still have some of the more powerful Blasphemies running around messing shit up.

Have Tranny cat come over not only from the succession crisis brought about by the king dying but also in a preventative messure to stop her brother from getting the throne, with the limited info they have all they know is that the final days where stopped by Eorzeans so he things "Maybe they had something to do with it, they are very war like"

Bam you have a non world ending threat and a good reason to go to the new world.

Probably because they never caved to despair for vague and nebulous reasons, and probably also because of the fact that the sky burning red bullshit maybe didn't spread far enough to have reached Tural.

I think we've already established how nonsensical it was for it to have only really affected Garlemald and Thavnair, random singular big bad Blasphemies in each of the Role quests notwithstanding.

We know at the very least the bigger Blasphemies can continue to make people despair spiral into monsters even after Meaty-Ron died, You can see it in the all roles-done role quest thing.

Really I just want more of a reason that "Lmao ur tough come make me queen"
