I will say I don’t think this series could be sold well as an manga nor manhwa series. I do believe you still need a proper written script or even a prototype/one shot chapter.

Keep working and refining your ideas @Monostar Leatherknuckles

Before you post a proposal, keep writing a prototype script and make that one shot. In my personal opinion the premise is a little thin.

I would recommend watching either the X-Files or Twin Peaks for inspiration. Shoot, even watch Naked Lunch or Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

I hate to be mean but this smells like an untalented weeb that wants to be "the idea man" and manage actual talent. There are no solely idea men, just talented workers that also come up with ideas. Produce something, then grift. Strangely, people have been very nice so far and have given you solid advice.

Well that’s because it takes time to create and I want to see what they’d do. I’m always fascinated what people will do with even the most smallest of ideas. The joys of working with the hands God has given.

Or possibly it could be due to the fact I’ve seen the ComicFury scene and them and people I’ve seen there are encouraging and I feel it would be appropriate to guide them in a certain direction.

The story is more than that, it’s not a sense of woke propaganda as it is an off manga.

Alright, here's the thing dude. Your premise is really fucking bad. To be genuine, and give you some form of actual feedback rather than just shitting on you because it's funny - The concept of "zombie apocalypse, but high schoolers" is overdone in pretty much every form of media. Not that an overdone idea can't still be done or done well, it's just a very boring and dead premise that plenty of manga and anime have already done.

You're trying to advertise this as a manga, which it is not. You will not be a mangaka, because you are a Westerner. Trying to publish this through something like Shonen Jump is nigh impossible, again because you're not Japan-based and the fact that frankly, what you have provided is basically shoving squares into circle holes. You have no idea how a manga is made, formulated or drawn. You're trying to force a title or genre upon your work that simply it doesn't fit into.
(I stand corrected on the first portion of this, lmao. Still though, writing wouldn't really be your responsibility and based on your art, don't think art would either.)

There's also the setting itself which is most likely not going to be popular either. You're definitely taking inspiration from something such as Solo Levelling or other Manhwa's / webtoons of the sort - which in of itself is not a bad thing, Korea is not a bad setting and in fact could offer something genuinely interesting, but then you're mixing in faggy shit and a nigger. This is not something that'd sell to the Japanese market plain and simple.

You really need to take a step back, storyboard, and make a cohesive and sensible setting, group of characters, and some form of rough draft if anything.
If you actually take the time to learn art, and keep making even shit comics and build up until you can write and draw cohesively, I have no doubt you could actually make it in some way as some webtoon or comic creator if you really put work into it. But you gotta have some self awareness bro.

I still think it's a jilted commission artist trying to get a mob on Nigga-sama here, probably the one that drew those nicer looking panels. If I had a facebook account I'd ask the actual dude if this is really him.
If you just made a thread on him it would fade into obscurity because he's one in a million. If you get him to act retarded in here you rile everyone up and rise him up to OrsonZedd status.

I already have the entire first arc of the series completed and if I show it off in here then the entire story will be leaked.

Upon further digging, it seems our newfriend has a Twitter account (Archive). Pretty mundane for the most part, except for the fact he likes semi-lewd pics all the time.

He seemingly also got into some faggy discord e-drama, which resulted in him making a shitty callout post.

Furhermore, Monostar made a 50k$ fundraiser (Archive) for his Red Mist comic. Pretty ambitious considering it's made up of mostly traced and poorly drawn shit.

One of the things I was recommended by another artist almost two years ago was to write out an 20 to 30 page chunk of a story. A prototype.

Also foreigners can become mangakas, it’s just they’re going to be on illustration duties because publishers like Kodansha, Shueisha, or Shogakukan put writing duties on Japanese nationals only.

First chapter or just one attention grabbing chapter should be all you need to win over the hearts of the masses. This is such a bad elevator pitch.

They run amateur manga contest in Japan. Look up their requirements and guidelines to see what a concept pitch should look like.

A key idea of making characters is that they are interesting enough that you can place them into a lot of different scenarios. Sell a character if you don't want the story to leak. If your character only work in Red Mist's world, your characters need work.

Nobody is saying you have to tell the entire story, but you have barely given us anything to work with. All we have is a very vague premise and description of themes, plus some very unconnected sketches and pages that don't tell us more. Who are the big characters? What are their main traits and goals? Your strategy to keep shit a secret so we support you out of interest doesn't work if there's nothing to hook us in.

One solid splash page that sums up the primary vibe and how everything comes together.
