Whoever the troon is who runs the Epik account thinks they're witty as fuck, but they don't realize everyone is laughing at them, not with them. Just like when they play dress-up, put on the "girl voice", and tell people they're a woman: people just laugh at them because they're just a mentally ill faggot.

I voted broke but I just went on twitter and read the absolute retard shit that this company is tweeting back at you and, honestly, yea I’ll throw in a hunny or so just because their smugness about being retard libs pissed me off. Please sue.
Honestly if it wasn't for whatever retard they had on Twitter being such a smug retard I wouldn't care that much either. I'm willing to throw money at the mere chance to see that faggot eat shit.

Why the FUCK is Epik even doing this shit? At least with Cloudfare they probably thought companies would stop using them because of Keffals mob crying over it. But Epik is losing 7.5% of domains under management a month and that's a GOOD month for them, and I have said this multiple times already but this shit is gonna make them lose their only unique draw and that's hosting right wing websites.
What is there to gain by doing this? Keffals and an IRL thwomp making smug twitter posts?

intitially wanted to vote yes because it would be interesting to see this play out.
but after thinking about it for a minute longer, this seems like a bad idea. the facts and the law may be on your side, but the financial and political power is on your enemies side.
this isn't going to be like russell greer and melinda scott with their retarded pro se in forma pauperis shit, this is going to be real lawfare against opponents who have way more clout, way better connections, and way deeper pockets than you. victory in court seems very unlikely.

These guys are colossal faggots. Seeing them spew these lies on Twitter as an established company has me MATI. This is certainly actionable. Throughout the thread, people have promised > 10,000 already. Let's do this. I will add a thousand dollars over the course of the Lawsuit.

This is beyond the pale. There is no more "we might lose". Letting this stand IS a loss. It IS the end.

We have to fight.

It's time for us to become as dangerous to them as they lie we are to trannies and children.

@Null Can you confirm that Money Orders (postal, Western Union, or otherwise) are valid fiat for the escrow account? These will be the most privacy respecting means of paying in.

Are there any benefits to sending money directly to the escrow account verses directly to the site besides the guarantee that it will be used to fund legal fees? Tax benefits? Extra privacy rights? Things along those lines?

E
Yes.

Question: Since this occurred on X have you had any luck getting X involved on it? Musk made some strong promises about X's legal team being available to fight for its users, but I'm not well versed enough in law to know if this constitutes something they'd help with or not.

Also, wouldn't the lawsuit include lawyer's fees and court costs as part of the damages? I know there are lawyers who only make you pay them if you win. Combine the two and you get a free attorney.
Epik is also a user, though.

I am unsure. There's legal assurance it will be used for its stated purpose but I do not know if it conveys any tax benefits. I'll ask tomorrow.

Even when a legal system is just and fair, a lawsuit's outcome is never guaranteed. The point is, if we share the cost between hundreds of farmers, we have nothing to lose - and everything to gain, from legal fees and a written apology to a historical legal precedent (for the site, maybe the whole Internet).

If a slim chance of winning isn't worth 5 bucks to you, I'd love to take a look at your 2023 spendings and find out you didn't waste multiple times that in dumb shit.
Yeah it's legit not a harsh goal. As of the moment of writing, according to poll data it would average to about $85 per kiwi. And this is just a 4 hours in.
