Something I see with a lot of stuff sjws are into like south park, cod etc:

Their knowledge is extremely surface level. As in, all they know is it exists.
They dont watch/Play those series, watch clips/gameplays, or at the very least read a wiki, they just find out of its existence and characters and then let their headcanons fill in the blanks. Or what they know comes from people who also dont actually consume that series.
They arent even scratching the surface, they are just hovering a few feet off of it.

Worse, they're observing the bananas from orbit with the shittiest lenses they've got while wearing dusty ass glasses and somehow think penises must be yellow.
