I've already had a low opinion of twitter/tumblr artists back in the day before the AI shit took hold, but now that Palworld is out and seeing how they're arrogantly gripping to the narrative that this game is AI generated has turned me from openly disliking to now they're just less than human to me. I see creatives and artists as subhuman now all thanks to this twitter discourse. I'll take my tophats, thank you, but having seen the twitter communists proclaim they're entitled to free money because they make scribbles on paper, it's made me root for AI takeover.

Even Naughty Dog Shit devs are seething at the success of Palworld so far:

And that genderspecial in the middle actually made a good point.
Well yeah the dev of Palword cheated. They hired people that loved making fun games instead of injecting their politics into everything they do. Can you imagen any one at Naughty Dog saying " Don't make the reload animation annoying, its the 3rd most action the player sees after running and shooting"? The dude down at the 7-11 did!

I have a habit of buying any game that Xitter gets angry about, so I've spent a few hours in it. While I think Nintendo would be well within its rights to try to challenge the game, I really can't be bothered either way. I'm enjoying people crying, and also enjoying the game, so it's a win all around for me.

I like the trait-rolling system on the pals, and base automation through pal labour is fun (though the experience of holding down a button for ages until you get more of them is maybe not the way to go.) A lot of polish is needed before they can really do a 1.0 release.

On a side note, I can't figure out how to get roofs on a building; they don't snap, and it makes me sad.

As it was pointed out, if you want the slanted ones, use the triangles, if you can't reach a high roof, build a stair on the wall, climb up and then you can reach the ceiling (Using the "Spiderman" way of climbing the walls bugs the placement even more for what I have experienced). Then disassemble the stairs after you are done

But beware, in my case if I remove a wall after it sits bellow a ceiling piece, you can't place it again because the game says that the ceiling is on the way.
