I guess that could be the case but the only way someone would have Ralph trundle across the country to a specific spot to do it is if they thought Ralph was loaded, which obviously he's not. If they just wanted to empty his pockets and atm card they could have done that where he is now.

I heard that at least in Colombia there is an entire industry dedicated to using local women to catch lonely tourists on tinder/local bars and kidnap them, sometimes they will kill the hostage even if the money is paid to be "safe".

Probably the same exists in mexico, especially in the truly shithole states like the one this girl lives.

This girl better be a gold digger that wants to use a fat loser to escape mexico, because the alternative for ralph is going to be truly horrifying

This right here is what has me wondering about Gunt’s safety. Now, there’s a chance he made this conversation up, BUT Deni is from Guerrero State, in Taxco right now, and knows exactly what the situation is there. If she actually told Gunt that it’s nawt troo and everything is cool there, or even if she didn’t mention it at all when he discussed his plans with her, that really sounds to me like she’s setting him up.
