The Nazis only gained popularity because the communists were so rabid with calling everyone across the spectrum a fascist Germans said "fuck it let's vote the actual (Hitler wasn't actually one but whatever) fascist." There have been no lessons learned.

True. The problem is the navy is stretched so thin and potentially undermanned that China, Russia, and Korea coordinated could do damage. Not worried about it, but we seem pretty nonchalant about the possibility of coordination.

am i seriously fucking retarded, or does this article say it's false that biden wore the hat backwards, and then in the very same article, they have pictures of the actual construction worker wearing it... and it's on the opposite way, strap... on the back of his head.

what the fuck do you mean 'false'? yes, biden is wearing the fucking thing backwards, the safety strap is on his fucking forehead. this is some serious cope to say that because it's not wearing EVERY safety helmet backwards, it's not wearing this one backwards. he clearly is.

Specifically theyre saying that the worker modified his hat such that it sits “backwards” when worn correctly (the bill is facing the back when it should be facing the front), and then arguing that um ackshually Biden is wearing the hat forwards, even though he is clearly wearing it wrong.

Exactly.

Hard hats are made so you can put the webbing in either way, in case you want the bill at the back. Either way you choose to wear it, the adjuster will still be at the back.

He's wearing it wrong.

I've worn hard hats for years. No one ever puts the tightening strap on the front. Even if you're dumb and don't know better that would become uncomfortable quickly. I've literally never seen that before.

You can fuck up and attach the inner webbing to the hat backwards on your first day. But someone will notice your hard hat is backwards and point it out before the day is done. And you still won't put it on with the tightener in front even if you're a new guy who made that mistake.

That other idiot wearing his backwards is probably another "Hey, fellow workers" guy wearing it for the occasion.

I would assume a cannibal from an uncontacted tribe would take one look at it and realize it's more comfortable one way over the other and orient it accordingly.

I am more worried that no one around him, neither the "Union" people or his own media PR people, noticed and corrected this extremely simple mistake.

I can buy it, and even forgive it somewhat, that Biden doesn't know how to wear a hard hat and got it on backwards. But the fact it took until the picture was published for the people who were there and should have known better and had to realize how much of a pathetic display this to realize and then they went into denial of it being wrong instead of trying to play it off as old granpa joe not knowing about "them newfangled hard hats back in his day there was no strap!" or something is the worrying bit.
