In next season I'd like to see actual firm rules in place so the fish can strategize and actually play a game. That within itself would create drama and tension.
Production kinda had this with their idea for chips and rent in the beginning but they were dropping fish so fast they had to scrap it.
I hate hate HATED Tay's cringey ways but the way she was basically forced to lose in the most inorganic way possible was really anti-climactic
This is entirely a result of the lack of established rules for the game. Had Tay known that the others could fuck her over the way they did she could've actually had a chance.

There is also the issue I brought up earlier in the thread about California aspiring actors not wanting to be on the show once they realize it's associated with Sam Hyde. Using weirdo internet freaks it wasn't something they ever really had to worry about. The first thing that comes up when you google Sam Hyde his connection to the alt-right.
They won't be on a show with Sam Hyde, they'll be on a show with Jefferson Goldstriker. And they can't Google anything until they get out.

I don't think it was an accident, Sam was in the room when TJ bought chips off Fatty (and even negotiated Fatty down from 10k to 3k) and also Sam was heavily against giving Shinji and Tay a redo on the sled challenge
Sam wanted to give him a redo. Jet didn't, because then Tay would need a redo, and he thought the 45 second sled ride would take an hour.

I don't know why people continue to argue with me on this. The second TTS starts spamming weird sexually deviant shit and Sam gets overtly racist any serious aspiring Hollywood actor would walk. Greg who is a literal nobody with a dead Youtube channel almost walked off because of this exact reason.

Weird sexually deviant stuff is mostly fine for Hollywood. They could just not be overtly racist until like 4 weeks in when they have a bunch of fishbucks they don't want to lose.

Production should have a red word system like in umineko.
Agreed, there were several cases during the show when they tried tardwrangling the fish via TTS and couldn't, because they'd obviously be cautious in case it's just some random retard. Maybe a unique production-only TTS voice, or a unique short sound effect before production's TTS? It could be a toggle in case production would wanna disguise a TTS as one of the regular ones, considering that Jet would probably still want to use TTS to be a complete faggot.

For a contest, I have to wonder how someone "wins" this contest. I think Summer yelled about having lots of fans. And you can maybe try to get another contestant to tard-rage breaking rules to get themselves kicked out, or to rage-quit.

So for the most part, you have the worst levels of drama induced attention whoring. And from there you have to hope that your kind of attention whoring creates a funny enough interesting story arc so that the producers will tailor the contests to give you the best chance of winning. Because if you are great for the show, the producers will try to craft scenarios where you stay on.

No, she didn't. The whole soytax bit was them being sadistic faggots and thinking their pet hate is worth airing in front of cameras as content for the rest of Tayseethers. Vance seething about Tay upstairs during the "flooding" wasn't him playing a character, it was the production's consensus on her as a person. If she'd done better, they'd invented ways for her to do worse. They'd soured on her about as much as they'd soured on doing the tank. Big mistake having the show run by faggots who in the midst of it are preoccupied with their own clout.

Here's all my clips from the season, GREG IT UP!

Warning Loud

It was never about the 50k, it was about the Greg we found on the way :)

Hopefully someone makes a post-Tank thread to keep up with new developments. It's damn near exhausting keeping up with this thread and all of the extremely negative, uninformed and recycled commentary.
This is a thread about an online reality show being run by two lolcows, Jet Neptune and Sam Hyde. What's stunning is that they managed to make it to the end of two seasons before burning through the goodwill of many of the people posting here. I think it's because they got lucky with a really good cast in Season 2, but they managed to squander it by the middle of the season.

One is making the best out of a bad situation, and the other is making a bad situation out of the best they had. I don't like Pro Wrestling, and that is what this Season felt like, a big gay story pretending to be real. I'm out, maybe I'll follow along here to see how bad Season 3 is, but I'm not engaging with it from the start like I did Season 1 and 2. I only came back to watch the TJ/Shinji fight because it sounded like it was a complete train wreck and that's really all it was.
It went from a mix of Big Brother and IP2 to a mix of WWE wrestling and IP2 with a thin veneer of a reality TV show to guide the plot. Really stupid.

I think Sam was backing Shinji, and Jet was backing TJ. Sam liked Shinji because he was the funniest one left, down to inviting him to do comedy with him. Jet liked TJ because he invariably likes the dumbest choice.
Disagree. This is one disaster that can't be blamed on Jet. TJ's forced and boring arc was Sam's pet project and when the edited episodes are released they will make the foreshadowing of TJ winning the competition through boxing very clear.

This also means that Tay likely had no chance to make it to the final since they had already tested the TJ vs. Tay boxing thing earlier in the season and it was obviously not fair and it would not be a satisfying ending.

Anyone who has watched the first two seasons who is competing in season 3 will know that the best chance of winning is to do as little as possible while pretending to be as stupid as possible.
