If what some are saying is true. About how hh takes place only in pride where all the sinners are as opposed to being assigned torments or at least existence in the rings based on their sinful lives on earth. Because tye two shows are torn up in copyright red tape. Then maybe it proves my point about HH staying 100% independent and produced for free video sites like YouTube.

Would it have taken longer and been harder to produce without people like Jeff bozos and Amazon backing it up? Well maybe, but remember vivian has legions of paypigs and simps who one minute would ask, "where's the show vivzie?" Only to turn around and fork over all their neet/tardbux the second she announced a merch drop with "limited edition" Keychains, buttons, playmats, mousepads, buttons, plushies, tee shirts, and other trinkets for sale.

Also, there’s something about the angels being scared shitless of the damned uprising. Okay, what uprising? They’re literally fucking and drinking and not doing anything productive with their lives. Idiots.
To be fair, not to be one of those "Um Media Literacy" people, but the uprising is likely a lie Adam made to jew the higher angels to greenlight his execution plan to get back at his ex (I still believe this since he still references Lilith as of the recent episode, the opening prologue that showed her rejecting him, and Vivzie's love of soap opera stories).

It does however still paint Heaven as stupid for going off Adam's word alone presumably and not checking in for themselves despite having the means too.

Won't be surprised if Adam blerts that out when he's fighting Charlie, forgetting that Sera is overseeing the Extermination with that magic ball and heard him spill the beans, which would lead him to getting killed as a result. There's even a background track called 'Adam's Secret' in the song list.

The song list spoils parts of the story? Viv is such a fucking moron, but she just has to have her precious musicals.

Since I've only watched the first episode and have been mostly avoided spoilers, I don't know if God himself has been brought up or not, but after the first episode I've been wondering if maybe it'll be revealed that God has been "asleep" or indisposed since making humanity and all this shit happened, and the angels have been fucking things up either accidentally or on purpose without him around. Honestly if God himself was a bad guy or an asshole like Adam it would just be too cynical for me to even care anymore.

I don't care what anyone says, Sir Pentious crush on Cherri doesn't make sense, it's completely manufactured by the fanbase that Viv is pandering to, and in the pilot they didn't have any positive interaction and it's implied that it was the first information they had because Sir P invaded her turf, which makes sense since he was supposed to be a one and done villain.

but now we have to believe that they are archenemies considering that he has more antagonism with Alastor on screen and in implication (they fought more than 20 times in a week off screen), he interacted once with Cherri in 5 months.

this crush was made in service of his sacrifice counting on the fandom to buy it since the fanworks did all the work of connecting these two,

I've come to the conclusion that Alastor is the character I hate the most because of how poorly done his concept is. His whole character concept has flaws from these four points:

1. He was a prolific serial killer and cannibal in life who dumped his bodies in the Louisiana Bayou while just doing radio part-time as a hobby during the 1920's
2. He was a mixed-race Creole from Louisiana in life
3. He's a very powerful overlord in the hierarchy of hell, but still below demons higher-up in the hierarchy like the Seven Deadly Sins (ex. Mammon) or the Goetia Family
4. He's stated he is only helping the hotel because he finds the concept of sinners failing miserably to redeem themselves entertaining in the way we find watching lolcow antics entertaining

The problem with him being a serial killer and cannibal comes from the fact we never see him exhibit any kind of dark triad/sociopathic character traits, and the few times we do see him engage in violence is directly in justified self defense (like when Pentious or the Loan Sharks attack the hotel). Otherwise he's actually been the opposite- forgiving (with Pentious), polite, and a social butterfly. When he got control of the eggs it would have fit his backround more to just smash them on the spot like a schoolyard bully- ffs Angel Dust has exhibited more antisocial traits than him. The problem with him (and I know this is kind of a SJW thing to bitch about) is that other than weird voodoo scribbles that fly around him whenever he's using magic- his appearance doesn't shout "I'm a creole from the bayou" at all- his hair isn't curly or anything and his accent sounds more like a Caucasian or Italian New Yorker than anything else- a redesign making him look more like the witchdoctor from Princess and The Frog would have fit him better.

The problem with him being an overlord is that he's crossing the line into Gary Stu territory- all we ever hear about him is how insanely powerful he is and we never see any flaws or weaknesses he has (aside from it being implied he made a bad deal with Lilith and that's the real reason he's helping the hotel). If him just being an overlord and much weaker than Lucifer is true (which Vivzie herself blatantly stated at one point) The instant he said "Fuck You" to Lucifer is when Lucifer should have flayed his soul into a quadrillion tiny pieces to remind everyone Hell is his private property and human sinners are just the servants- the King of Hell and the original fallen angel coming to the hotel would have been a good time to show Alastor demonstrating a bit of fear/apprehension and skipping town for a bit to showcase this.

Finally, the problem with the last point is that everyone at the hotel seems to be forgetting that he flat-out said in the first episode he's only helping the hotel because he finds it humorous. The duet between him and Lucifer implied Charlie has forgotten all about this, and after that he tells Mimzy to fuck off and only come back if she's really interested in redeeming herself. Wouldn't a sociopathic cannibal serial killer overlord purposefully be drawing MORE bad-faith actors like Mimzy in to cause chaos and stir shit up for more lulz? Again, I get that it's very heavily implied he sold his soul to Lilith and now the real reason he's there is to babysit Charlie but it's still considerably out of character.

Adam ironically enough bugs me less than Alastor- it was made crystal clear early on there's not supposed to be ANYTHING redeeming about him and he's supposed to be the archetypical Jersey Shore douchecanoe who only got into heaven because he was heaven's first product and it would have been bad PR if he was damned. Him being a pig fits with the reasoning why Lillith fled the Garden, as well as the whole extermination business being his idea to begin with- especially since it could be argued everything being provided to him in the Garden of Eden prior to the fall made him a spoiled rich kid brat. He really reminds me of Gaston.

The Doctor is likely right this is all a psyop by Adam and wastes the potential of sinners aligning with native demons to be a threat against Heaven. Hazbin has shown sinners are not concerned about the possibility of being perma-dead when Extermination Day rolls around and Helluva has shown the other inhabitants of Hell are too busy with their own drama and they ignore an annual cleansing of their populace (a bit of a "not my problem" attitude since the angels seem to only target sinners).

I am curious if the next Helluva Boss episode will be released once the first season of Hazbin Hotel is all on Prime.

Considering the amount of Gaston YTPs we found in that playlist...

It definitely adds up.

Wait, so if sinners respawn when killed, what's even the point of exterminations?
Wait, SINNERS CAN RESPAWN??? Was that explained in the pilot or one of the episodes because I'm just now learning this.
If true then wow, so much for high stakes on these characters dying unless it's from an angelic weapon.

Funny thing is the pitch bible that was done right after the pilot has Pentious having a crush on Rosie instead of Cherri.

I think Viv missed the point of why people shipped those two, there's a ton of suckers for the 'enemies to lovers' trope. But because Viv is rushing absolutely everything she skipped over the 'enemies' part and Pentious just has a crush for her right off the bat. Like many things in this story it could have worked if this was season 2 and we've already witnessed a ton of character development, and one of those things is Pentious and Cherri going from absolutely hating one another to having a neutral relationship so Pentious having a crush on Cherri isn't a case of whiplash.

This is almost certainly a niche reference, but I heard someone on Twitter call Viv a white woman echo fighter version of Funamusea (The chick who made Mogeko Castle, Wadanohara, and Gray Garden), and frankly, they're so fucking right, right down to the transparent suit-wearing demon yaoi rape kink. It's just that she lacks any of the broadway musical delusions.

I'm so obsessed over these ships basically being the same thing.

I finished Helluva Boss and I'm confused as to why we have essentially two Angel Dust/Valentino dynamics

Fizzy and... the clown greed thing. Cannot be assed to google its name, but man that animation was great. I mean, the episode didn't sit right with me but the animation for that 'fuck you' number was very fluid.

I really am sick of male/male for every god damn ship.

I was lured into all this hoping for lesbians since I found out about Charlie/Vaggie being the 'main' characters but there's just fucking dude on dude shit everywhere.

So if these characters can permanently die from angelic weapons, what happens to them? Do they just cease to exist like what atheists believe? Do they get sent to some sort of super Hell? I’m so fucking confused right now.
they actually poke fun of this in the pilot:
"Too late, toots. Wait, would that make me double dead? Heh- And where exactly do I go, to double Hell? Hahahahahaha! Sorry, you're stuck with me, bitch! Get used to it."

By the way, one thing I forgot to mention about the earlier episodes. How exactly does death work? Like, when angels and demons are killed, where do they go? Do they just cease to exist, like what atheists believe? Do they regenerate? Do they go to some sort of super afterlife? Viv needs to think this shit through.

I've already been thinking before about bringing up the peculiar matter of double-death.

Viv may have commented a long time ago about sinners ordinarily being immortal in Hell, but we can't necessarily be sure that point isn't among the various little bits that have been retconned since, and I'm finding it to be a detriment that the show itself has thus far not made the matter clear. At most, we're just told that exorcist have been thought to be unkillable, and even Helluva Boss (presuming the setting is the same) only presents a holy weapon as uniquely capable of killing "demon royalty", leaving nothing said about the mortal hardiness of sinners besides Angels vague remark mocking Vaggie in the pilot. Normal viewers are being left to assume that sinners can just as easily die to oblivion at the hands of another sinner as an exorcist, and given the impression of sinners killing each other with regularity, the annual exterminations make less sense for either the old reason of overpopulation or the new concern over the threat of an uprising. Sure, we can expect now that the exterminations are going to be revealed as only in service to Adam's malevolence, but they at least need to be past off to viewers as a necessary evil for the protagonist Charlie to have bought into.
