Phil also used to have an UNGODLY huge DVD collection, like stacks of them in the hallway and shit. He and Leanna frequently watched movies together. AFAIK he's only ever mentioned watching other streamers with Kat.

Yeah, I recall when he sold a large chunk of them for pennies on the dollar. I'm almost certain Kat forced him to do that (or was it PandaLee? I can't remember what time frame that was in), because Phil sure as fuck wouldn't do that on his own.

Not sure if you guys would agree, but it seemed to me like there were a lot of signs that Kat wore the pants in their relationship early on. After seeing how she was on stream, it doesn't seem like that to me now though.

Just basic human psychology at work there. In-group versus out-group. All the cult talk he does 'We, we're, us, they, them' is just to create and foster a social group that he can preside over and leech off of. The use of out-group threats helps to reinforce his in-group cohesion as well, nothing like a threat, whether an individual or a more nebulous financial threat, to the 'whole' to cement bonds within the group. Considering most of his actual factual dentfans are probably fairly socially maladjusted and it is no surprise that it takes a direct confrontation to pull the wool from their eyes.

Now we have replaced SF 6 salt with Tekken 8 salt. And what is funny is he doesn't seem to advance further then the current rank which is warrior. A rather low rank if I get it right.

So any bets how long it will take for him to return to SF 6? My guess would be he will go back once the nexst character is introduced which is I think pretty soon

One thing I found funny is how he said he'll DAHMINATE all the classic characters but lose against those STOOPID new characters who "aren't Tekken" but then the complete opposite happened. He kept wrecking Lars, Alisa and Reina players but kept getting rekt by Kazuya, Bryan, Jin etc.

In one of their "IRL" streams from June 2018 Phil said he made her sit through like 2 hours of WWE to 'see if they could watch it together' and she said she thought I was silly and didn't like it/get it. So Phil would periodically cry about how he had to watch it after she went to sleep. All this of course is after years of Phil saying he doesn't watch it anymore.
I think part of why Phil says he doesn't watch it anymore is because he's still that butthurt about Rambo getting tired of Phil wanting to monetize his entire friendship.

Katherine made him sell about 200 of his Blu-rays, in like 2014 when Phil filmed his Blu-ray collection he had like 400+. He got about $1 for each one and these are all disks he bought new at like $15 to $25 apiece.
His DVD collection he left almost entirely in his CT condo, and graciously told his parents they could do "whatever" with them. He says he probably had like 700+ DVDs.
2011 through 2014 Phil would just buy anything he ever looked at or thought of. He's always been this empty shell of a person who thought 'If I buy all the toys people will want to hang out with me.'

Looks, as someone who's played Tekken, it's a hard fucking game, I get it. But fuck me, Phil, you've played fighting games for over 20 years, and you don't know that you probably shouldn't mash buttons while you're still in blockstun? You don't even need to be a Tekken player to get that, it's basic knowledge within several fighting games.

But that's just it, isn't it? He just doesn't want to learn how to play Tekken at all, and that's fucking retarded because this specific game has some of the best training tools in the entire series, from combo tutorials (could've helped you to at least finish King's combo trials before jumping online, Phil, you fucking dipshit), visible frame data, and a teachable ghost that you can use to learn your frame punishes. You can even look at prior matches, freeze frame at certain points where you've gotten hit, and the game will tell you what you could have done to avoid it. Tekken 8 has some of the most robust training modes in fighting games right now, and Phil was too fucking stupid to devote and entire stream to understand the game and find a character he can use.

Just drop the game day one, Phil. Tekken 8 is a big boy's game, and you're not ready for it.

Tekken is a pretty complex game compared to SF. There are hundreds of combos, and in SF for example, you can only move back and forth, where as Tekken has the fights in a thre dimensional space where you can also sidestep. (Which is one thing Phil consequently doesn’t do.)

It’s too complex for Phil’s ginbrain which is fairly set in its SF-mindset. So he’ll keep complaining about “players spamming combos” in a game where ITS THE WHOLE POINT to combine combos.

Unless he will get showered in money, he’ll rage quit in a week.

I don't think they turn a blind eye. I think it's the opposite, that's exactly why they watch. As much as Phil wants to insist he's just a chill streamer, the majority of his actual "fans" watch for the drama. They like seeing Phil's completely one sided dunks. Most of them egg Phil on by referencing things he previously dunked on with the hope of getting another rant, and they're just as excited to see a lean in ban as Phil is to deliver it. Sometimes, they like seeing the rage directed at other viewers, other times, it's just games or developers Phil has previously insulted.

But yeah, once it gets aimed at them, they'll change their tune and act like, up until then, Phil was always positive. Then they either crawl back a few days later, begging for forgiveness with gifted memberships and tips, or they actually stand their ground and never return. Once in a blue moon, they'll come here as jilted lovers looked for vindication, basically using the farms as a replacement for Phil's vitriol. I think most go the route of never returning, which is a big part of Phil's decline. Those viewers usually weren't the biggest supporters, but they were reliable supporters, and in numbers, provided a solid chunk of support.

I'd say there's maybe like...20-40 legitimate fans that watch for less negative reasons. Some I think genuinely like Phil for some reason, others I think just fell into a routine of watching Phil and it just hasn't dawned on them that they don't have to. Or they appreciate the amount of content he churns out, as poor as it may be. For some, I think it's legitimately a case of a baby watching TV...they don't really have the mental facilities to comprehend what they're watching, but they're captivated by the moving images and sound.

It's another way that Phil is his own worst enemy, and despite what Phil likes to insist, I think he's chased away more of his viewers than any detractor has. Detractor content is usually aimed at people who either don't know Phil and have no interest in watching him, or people who already dislike Phil and wouldn't watch his streams anyway. The only person chasing away Phil's active viewers and supporters is Phil himself.
