It's costing him legitimacy though. Proggos are cottoning on that he's always been a rich kid dependent on Mommy and Daddy and sharing their milquetoast neolib politics, and not the progressive Bernie bro they thought he was.
Hell, they're realizing that more with him than they are with AOC, and she's practically Pelosi's whipping boy wishing she was an instagram influencer instead of a US Representative.

For what it's worth, the one thing going for Donnie Dipshit is that the globalist and collectivist types hate him. I've got a few theories about people with collectivist minded political views but that's a subject for another day.

Ari and Shanna Nachison said American wrongly accused them of fraud for opening multiple AAdvantage accounts, with cards issued under co-branding arrangements with Citibank (C.N), opens new tab and Barclays (BARC.L), opens new tab.

(Reuters) - American Airlines was sued on Monday in a proposed class action by two customers who said the carrier stripped them of 1.1 million frequent flier miles after they doubled up on credit cards offering mileage bonuses.

Ari and Shanna Nachison said American wrongly accused them of fraud for opening multiple AAdvantage accounts, with cards issued under co-branding arrangements with Citibank and Barclays.

The Los Gatos, California residents said that while some card applications prevented multiple mileage bonuses within a 48-month period, theirs did not, and it remained unclear why American closed their accounts in early 2020.

Both said the Fort Worth, Texas-based carrier cited violations "related to the accrual of ineligible miles and benefits; through fraud, misrepresentation and/or abuse of the AAdvantage Program" in emails announcing the terminations.

Ari Nachison said he lost 564,463 miles, while Shanna Nachison said she lost 550,664 miles.

The Nachisons said they were excused from applicable statutes of limitations because American's "boilerplate" emails did not mention specific violations or credit cards at issue, delaying them from pursuing legal remedies

Days after a New York jury ordered Donald Trump to pay $83.3 million on top of the $5 million he was previously ordered to pay to sexual assault accuser E. Jean Carroll, the former president and 2024 GOP frontrunner now faces $370 million in penalties for allegedly committing years of financial fraud.

And instead of a jury deliberating, Judge Arthur Engoron, who hates Trump, has sole discretion over the penalty after anti-Trump New York Attorney General Letitia James (who called him an "Illegitimate president" during her run for AG) made the request for $370 million after originally seeking $250 million.

Engoron, who said earlier this month that he will try to issue a ruling in the case by Jan. 31, has already ruled that Trump committed years of fraud by inflating his wealth and assets in order to obtain preferential terms from banks. And because Trump waived his right to a trial by jury, Engoron will be the sole arbiter when it comes to claims and penalties.

James filed the civil lawsuit in 2022, accusing Trump and family members of financial fraud - inflating his net worth by as much as $3.6 billion for over a decade. James also says that Trump and his employees made false entries in business records, falsified financial statements, and committed insurance fraud.

The judge has already removed various business certificates from Trump, two of his sons, and the Trump Organization.

They already decided on what they want to do, and now they merely need to convince people to back it.

Except they can't, they have no legitimacy to do that and their charisma and people skills do not exist anymore.

The fact is that they don't understand this, and honestly believe that having CNN and Fox say something makes it true.
