This intrigued me because 1) Undercover Boss has been off the air for years, 2) Walmart was not on the show when I checked the episode guide, and 3) the CEO’s name is Doug

After a quick search I found the “episode.” It’s a video from a shitty prank channel


I’m guessing Polissa saw an abridged version on TikTok given the top video results are just that. Since she’s gullible and has never seen an episode of the show (and has not worked in almost twenty years), she completely bought it

Doesn't Dollar Tree or Dollar General or whatever also take EBT? She doesn't have to go to Walmart if she doesn't want to.

This was posted a couple days ago by Polly and didn't get uploaded here. She goes into more detail about the song she recorded. It's apparently about the story of our grandparents (???), claims that she traded those hideous paintings worth $200 each :story: for studio time. Oh, and singing is her dream now.

(RE: her tugboat, she's referencing her Medicare benefits. She's talking about getting her prescriptions and such from Walmart. Although yes, EBT would be accepted elsewhere (and probably be more handy even at like Publix since their sales are overall better). Probably similar to her prescriptions; even Medicaid/care copays can vary by the pharmacy.)

Interesting, this literally just popped up for me despite me checking her profile as recently as a little over 12 hours ago. I wonder if it's a fuck up with her connection where it literally hung for two days or what.

Additional notes:
  • Gloats about Studio B like it's a prestigious recording studio because she got to record there without a contract
  • So. Much. Tongue clicking
  • Polissa pats herself on the back for never ever ever ever ever ever ever [two eternities later] ever giving up on her dream regardless of what other people told her about it
  • The subject of both paintings is Studio B's owner Reginald B Furtick. The Sonic colors represent his time in the military and the interior wall color of Studio B itself
  • She started repeating herself right after talking about how awesome her life is now. She starts the video discussing how her dreams are coming true and the song is about her grandparents. Now she is saying almost the exact same things again halfway through the video. It's like I'm in a time loop. This video between the time post fuckery and this feels cursed af
  • This song can be about everyone's grandparents and the love they had in times of strife, but only if they were born before the 1970s
  • She wants to go live tomorrow if the weather and her phone service play nice. Pleads to T Mobile to fix her town's cell service so she can post on TikTok and talk to "friends" more
  • She's so happy that she's past Pluto now, currently orbiting the Earth like she's Superwoman
  • Last thirty five seconds is motivational speaker Polissa. Return of closing with "I love you"

Just some additional notes. Studio B is such a generic name that when I googled "Studio B Mississippi," the main results were for a beauty salon and a music school in different parts of the state. The Studio B that Polissa visited is in Booneville and owned by a guy named Reginald B Furtick (Facebook (archive) / Instagram (archive failed).

Studio B does not seem to have an actual website, just a Facebook page (archive). I actually thought that it didn't even have that until I noticed that Reginald tagged it in this post sharing Polly's art

It's pretty obvious that it's Tyler's friend or a friend of a friend's studio. Just find it interesting since Muscle Shoals has its own rich recording history, especially back in the 70s.

Although... Joh's friend Chad records there too. Maybe Joh was also involved in her getting there?

I think she meant Sam Walton. Wellington is an actor, apparently.

The prankster in the "Undercover Boss" video called himself Sam Wellington. I don't know if it's that particular actor since I despise prank channels, but I forced myself to watch long enough to confirm the name.

Although the idea of her ranting about Sam Walton while fucking up his name would also be a very Pissa move. She despises Greg Locke yet can't even pronounce his surname correctly despite it being a semi common one
