There is a growing resistance to his pignosis as of late and I do wonder how it will affect fundraisers. If you compare his audience to 6 years back it is very different and his previous attempts were pretty bad. The ME one was a disaster where didn't he want 2k? He got $400 but it was all whales and then for weeks after his tips fell off.
Whales have not appeared since Friday and I would be interested to see how the Discord convos go because I bet they have flipped. The whales are saying can't be there etc and Phil is just word vomiting about his life in an almost one-sided conversation. I am not going to lie these developments along with the tax stuff is shaping up to be a banger of a year.
I also in reflection am starting to think Clum was the one who canceled the documentary. Why because one issue during the Boogie doc he had nothing positive to say about him. I think Clum realized it would be very similar to Boogie's doc and from a filmmaker's perspective, it looks bad and is not good for his portfolio.
I've noticed that, too. I honestly believe that Phil thinks that his "business" is immune to inflation or economic downturns. As long as the money keeps coming in - not the Argentine Peso - I mean, USD. Eventually, the dents break pignoisis and Phil has always been of the belief that if one dent leaves, another one can replace that dent. However, what Phil has failed to realize, is this: people talk. People take notice when you're being a piece of shit and people stop fucking with you, if you keep being a toxic retard to people that hand you their SSI/SSDI checks via their velcro wallet.
However, Phil's business philosophy has always been this: if he (Phil) thinks or feels like he got bamboozled by someone, supporter or not, scorched Earth tactics. Constructive criticism? "You're a fucking idiot!" and you get a 10 minute rant about how you're not a mature adult with a business degree and know nothing about life, then it's a rant about how he got screwed over by the helicopter company, he just wanted to "have fun", but this turned into a job, he's Italian and doesn't really know anything about anything, but he's an expert on everything in life....but, he's always dead wrong about everything he talks about.
Even Phil has slipped out of the vortex and people are starting to pay a bit more attention to him. Of course, he thinks "Oh, this could be good.", but not all attention is good attention. If you're likable, sure. All those day's of streaming for fun, being fun and positive, etc....Yeah, it's a good thing, however, the only thing positive about Phil is probably his blood type and I would press X to gout on that!
The one thing that I recollected about the Boogie1488 video and it was this: even Mike had to take a break from filming, as even he mentioned that it was "taxing" and that Mr1488 is "extremely negative" and "it takes a toll on you." Mike went out to visit, saw what was going on, saw the pigpen - and even he said it was "interesting", which I guess is still filled with gamer shit, but we'll never truly know - and either Mike saw this as a extreme version of that same negativity or he saw that this was just a waste of his time, so, Mike said "Fuck it, I'll take the loss." and not do it.
I agree that Mike called it off, as Phil CANNOT take social queue's to walk the hell away. For example: during the SideScrollers interview - Jesus, what the fuck happened to THAT show - even Craig mentioned that if he wanted to stay he could, but they had to wrap up things behind the scenes and destress from the shit-show known as Dave. Most people would go "Okay, cool. Thanks for having me on, plug your shit, wish everyone a nice day, and hit the road." Phil stayed. That and when they finally told him "Hey, look. We gotta wrap this up, any last words?" And tells the world "Yeah, did you find that restraining order about muh wife about her ex, because he was hitting her?" Well, MethBear on Twitter - actual lawyer - said that the restraining order is a REAL thing and he had NO idea about it. He did it because he wanted to show the world "Hey, I saved a woman I loved from an abusive relationship. I'm a good guy." Sure, Phil...and you didn't mean to masturbate on stream, dood. You were scratching your leg.
Hi, Phil.
