that's weird i remember nick pushing back against a lot of redpill bs and iirc that's more like a branca thing more than a nick thing, its seems more like you are just looking for an excuse to shit on redpillers more than anything.
to be clear i haven't watched rekieta in a while but back in the day he has said that your opinion as a man past 30yo is more respected but i have never watched him defending this 40/18 bs.
Of course he would agree with the part about >30yo men. He is always the demographic he'd uphold. He agrees with anything that puts him upon the pedestal of enlightenment. Same with waving his law diploma. He waves that with the caveat that lawyers are not looked well upon society, so bashes to that extent. He'll say that's why he doesn't practice anymore, etc, because he is a phony. You will never hear him agree on any proposition that places him or his life choices in an inferior scenario. Legitimate humility does not exist for him.
Short but relevant tangent: You will often see people who praise redpill philosophy are in the age bracket or life scenarios that it praises. Suddenly being a normal person and having a stable job with a decent enough income makes one a superhero of the masculine culture. I lean more traditional much more than not but I can't tolerate false flattery for basically doing what used to be considered not being retarded.
Nick was likely a believer in it up to the extent it matched up with his ideal self-image of his own background. At least up until he realized it didn't make him anymore special than even
his own fans or the Brancas and Legal Mindsets who helped propel him to fame. Likely the change in his character positions occurred exactly when he realized that his edge no longer existed as it was no longer extraordinary to openly hold such traditional views.
He is a degenerate, but he also is part of the conservative subculture actively in his real life. Whether he is faithful or not to his beliefs, he understands the strength of perception within that community. He thought he could wear both masks seeing his fame and audience's embrace of his performative side seemingly endorsed a hypocritical worldview.
Perhaps he could adapt both views to fit new brand of faux hubris. Most any movement thrives when there is an audience of people to grift on their behalf for and directly flatter. And Christianity is full of closeted degenerates like him, surely he surmised. He likely thought he was setting himself apart from other Content Creators by praising the virtues of fun-centered conjugal-centered degeneracy. Add in a few Bible interpretations and those other Conservatives don't know what they are missing! This is how he likes to sell himself now, because he actually believed his small clan of misguided miscreants in Locals fit the demographic of most of his Christian listeners.
All of it is very phony and is a watered down version of the things he used to support, except he is right there is nothing original about being traditional. He probably thinks he has found some unrealized genius because nobody else surely ever thought of being a narcissistic sociopath, alcoholic Youtube lawyer with marital problems. It's too original to pass up as a Youtube scheme. Rumble surely doesn't see why he is the perfect NEW and ORIGINAL character personality to add to their credibility. (Not that I think Rumble is remotely credible)
I realize there's very legitimate issues for why redpill exists and I agree it's inevitable we are here, but most anyone who claims to have a proper prescription for society's ills are phonies. I trust God and what is self-evident over anything that gets spoonfed to the masses for clicks and bells these days. That said, I never saw a role model in Nick. I only saw an entertaining result of the counterculture and an easier way to follow current news. Still, I can see where many traditionalists feel misled by the oh so humble bait and switch.
