According to Twitter, Viv used to have a character that "loves creeping on kids" and would love another character in "her own pedo way", you know, if Zoophobia actually made it to book six and wasn't left rotting behind a dumpster after five chapters of book one.



Now it says she's a villain, but I feel like if you slapped a ridiculous eyebleeding suit and a penis on her, she'd be recycled for HH just like Alastor was.

You know it's really weird, but I actually think that the show matches the source material right sometimes in the most important ways. Specifically insofar as that Christianity as a whole is not about being perfect, but actively doing good for the world in even the smallest of ways you can.

I sincerely think Angel Dust's arc is the best in the show and really outclasses everyone else by a wide margin. Angel's journey is about accepting his failures and flaws. It's about understanding that he is powerless except in his ability to do good for those around him, then wielding that strength irregardless of the consequences. His personification of virtue is simply a consequence of his actions when he does good, as opposed to his actions being driven by a desire to adhere to virtue. The former composing the true nature of Christianity and the wellspring from which all true good flows. The later representing a lesser version. Angel is the only resident of the hotel to grasp that former approach. As Charlie being the spawn of Lucifer, can understand and act through the later, and try as she might to use it as a path to redemption will inevitably fail.

SAO abridged is better than the source material by a large margin while sticking to and achieving the main premise. It's not as difficult as you think.

I had the impression that the reason the day of extermination was brought forward was because they didn't have the content to fill 1 year of stories and interactions, but now I think it was because they thought skipping 11 months would be too ridiculous for the public to accept .

because apparently "Heaven vs Hell" was always the central point of HH and not the characters in a story about redemption. It's not about making an effort to be a better person, but proving that no one knows what makes someone a good person so it doesn't matter.

Still weird hearing God's name be dropped yet there has not been any mention of the Almighty in the season. He may appear in as a cliffhanger teaser if Viv goes full r/atheism by having God be like Thanos or Darkseid and go Old Testament.

Speaking of Zoophobia, apparently that webcomic suffered from similar writing problems such as poorly written characters that are introduced too quickly and development goes nowhere. Also the fetishization of questionable content is apparent too.

It has to be done very precisely, generally with each syllable taking up only a single note, with perfect enunciation. You can't mushmouth your way through it.

It depends on what the song is and who's singing it tbh.

Take something like Hamilton, most of the songs with Lin and Daveed are patter-like because rapping is\slam poetry is their thing.

The songs with Leslie Odom Jr are either ballads or jazz because that's his thing.

You need to play to your talent's strengths whenever you can.

It really blows that the only likable character in the show gets off’d, it doesn’t really feel like it had any lasting impact and this just feels like insult to injury.

I’m guessing that those pictures indicate the Hotel gets a redesign at the end of season 1?

I feel like the claws kind of look like his, but honestly its one of those things that I'd want to see the context for.

But I won't put it past Viv to just throw him away.

I will say that 'Ready for this' is shaping up to be one of my favorite songs so far, I really like the marching band style it uses. I didn't expect the songs to be that good since the two big songs they used for the advertising (Happy Day in Hell and Poison) are two of the weakest songs, but I've legitimately liked most of the songs in this.

Yeah, but the crew and Viv liked him so much that they added a post credit scene where it's revealed he survived his ass beating by Alastor. It's not too crazy, Charlie and Vaggie are only a couple because some of the crew started shipping them during the pilot's production and Viv liked that too.

I agree, and I think it's too early to kill off a main character unless this show is trying to be one of those 'most the main cast are going to be dead by the end' type of shows, which this definitely isn't.
