The new spam mitigation is doing wonders, not only did /g/ get spammed the moment people found out how it works, this is happening on /a/. Got to love the janny for only deleting the new threads the guy makes.

Want to point out this guy's on like 15 threads right now. The janny only been deleting his newer threads but won't touch the older ones.

Him bailing was inevitable, it's just that it happened when his public image had turned from "all overseeing faggot" to "luggage lad".
He left a site that made him zero money and only caused him FBI visits to go work a high paying tech job and have a real life. I doubt he cares much about neckbeards calling him luggage lad.

I looked at /v/ just now, and apparently this is the image to post in nonsensical political threads. This reminds me of how that Family Guy episode sucked off Justin Trudeau, I only saw the end of it, and that reminds me of the Canada is a Failed State thread.

On the reverse of this coin, he took an already trashed public image and managed to incinerate it just in time to be yet another face in the Google crowd, leaving himself to fade into obscurity because he peaked in/just after high school. It's a perspective thing.

I don't blame him, but after 4chan, what does anyone know about mootles? Oh, he went on to have money in return for turning his back on his actual accomplishment in life. That's all.

I like him enough to hope he goes on to do something notable again in his life because that's kind of sad.

Most of the original crew completely disappeared without a trace: shut, shii, coda, thatdog, frank_stallone, the list goes on.

If you chase everlasting internet fame, you end up a complete loser, like snacks, kirtaner or hiro - or you blow your brains out, like lowtax.

An interesting trend is developing on /pol/. They're calling it dignifAI. I'm very curious to see if it will go anywhere. So far there aren't actually any good reactions, but on the other hand this is the type of thing that can explode like a powder keg if enough outrage lights the fuse.

Basically using AI to clothe scantily clad women.

To what end? It's not like these replace or counteract the original material. At most maybe they'll annoy enough people that Salon publishes an editorial piece about it or something, but really it seems like at most just a pretext to post their instagram coom collection...

They're literally respecting women. What is the problem?

The point is to shame and annoy e-thots and provoke a reaction out of them. Very funny bit imo.

most of /pol/ ops these days the best they can hope for is a 200 word fake outrage article on buzzfeed

Latter-day /pol/ is, of course, even more pathetic and shameful than it used to be, but it doesn't help that media outlets have gotten wise enough that, instead of using actual right-wingers who might make good points (however inadvertently) as bogeyman, they just manufacture entirely synthetic right-wingers. Synthetic right-wingers like Andrew Tate, who can be counted on to act consistently like a retarded unlikable asshole in public.

The sheer laziness of it is even more pathetic because it's not like there is a shortage of retards like this they could use without just inventing faggots.

People who parrot this "4chan was unprofitable" thing get all their info from YouTube videos by nasally essayists. Back in reality 4chan was extremely profitable. Just the pass sales leaked from the Heartbleed hack were easily enough to make a healthy profit - 4chan serves mostly text and thumbnails. Miserly japanese toy company executives paid a shitton of money for the site, so obviously it was generating lots of ad clicks.

For a lot of its life 4chan was also running on cheap local hardware, now it runs on a marked-up AWS blade and again it's still making money, otherwise the famously jewish Hiro and his toy company masters would've sold it by now
