At this point the concept behind the documentary is seen in a totally different context than when it started. Chris used to be just a goofy tard on the internet. The documentary was about gathering up all his shenanigans and putting them in chronological order. Now it's different. Chris is a pervert who raped his elderly mother and lives in his own delusions. It really isn't cute or funny any more. The shark was jumped when Chris was arrested. From here on out, there's no fun left, only a Youtuber exploiting a mentally ill sex offender for yucks. If I was Geno, I would hang it up once Chris is in jail. That is really the period on the end of the sentence, even if Chris continues to live and cause trouble for another decade or two.

i actually have the opposite issue with the documentary where i think it tries to hard to be moralistic and frame it as trolling creating the tragedy of chris when i think it really is far from the main issue with his life. i think chris would be bullied without the internet and just as lonely and isolated and fucked. id prefer it if the documentary just had fun with it and stopped pretending its somehow above exploiting some tard.

I just wish it didn't get so samey after the tranny shit, and that his trolls either just stopped or werent reduced to people who think someone just shooting chris is the funniest thing ever and had actually clever or funny ideas. but it was always inevitable, chris wasnt going to stay a young guy who could change his life at any point forever, he was going to get older and miss out on alot of social stuff eventually, he was going to decline because of his mental state eventually. there was never a set cut off point where people would stop trying to julay him or convince him clyde and the pickle man are out to get him so it was inevitable all that would just slowly decline and leave chris stuff empty and lonely and with less than the little he started with.

i dont really think the game changed i think people just more so realized what it actually entailed and that using chris's unwillingness to improve his life as an excuse to attack him and convince other people hes a piece of shit wasnt actually going to ever magically fix him. i think the people viewing him and the world around him are what changed. its not like people werent needlessly and gratuitously and constantly cruel to chris then either gaslighting him into thinking fictional girlfriends hated and betrayed him constantly sometimes just for filler. i think it was all just grandfathered in. it was always about exploiting some retard for fun its just now people have to actually see the results and they dont have a spoonful of sugar to help.

personally all i need is ludicrous stuff like chris talking about trans issues mixing in his insane lore to congress, or the interview where that tranny realized mid convo people werent lying and chris actually thought sonichus existed and was forced to bow to the slgbtq narrative of the multiverse.

Also as much as the series blu-ray would be an interesting collectible, it would also be shameful in my opinion to buy.
It's like having a statue of an Anime girl: sure its well made, the paint is good and the quality is clearly present, but man its awkward to look at knowing you spent money on THAT.

I've watched some of his spin-off documentaries, and while the monotone delivery suits Chris very well (it's the juxtaposition with the very animated way Chris writes), it's less cute in a documentary on isolated tribes or whatever. He has the elevator music and he has Chris, and it's pretty clear which he's built his career (or whatever you call this) on.

Yeah it’s YouTube.

Back before YouTube, the only people who made documentaries had to be good at making documentaries.
Not just documentaries about one particular subject.
Sure there are now YouTubers who are fantastic at what they do, but if they tried to make a tv program, it would fail hard.

It’s like silent film actors who failed to continue their career after talkies became the thing, just sort of in reverse.

This is TRUE and HONEST.
But it in the classical era it was mostly controlled cruelty (BlueSpike being the obvious exception that proves the rule). At some level it was not even about the tard, he was just an excuse to create elaborate, funny, stories. What is the post classical era? It's just pure sadism. Degenerates. Which is objectively correct it's just I dont really care about the distinction between ethical autistic kicking and unethical. I'm sick of the grand narrativization of Chris's life by people with trolls remorse, faggots on the outside looking in who just see a doughy helpless man with delusions while validating their shared trans delusions, and this look at the classic era as anything other than some bored trolls torturing an autist but having enough story telling skills to avoid you feeling too bad for him.
