Metacritic was sold in the last year or so and is fully corporate and no longer user friendly. They redesigned the entire site and broke half of its interfaces and also removed massive amounts of content and reviews. The changes are so bad it looks like the site was bought to be killed rather even censored or curated.

metacritic has been "bought out" years ago, just look at how the TROS user scores developed (spoiler: they didn't).
Metacritic is the same as other critic/journo consensus sites such as Rotten Tomatoes, Letterboxd, etc. Not only are critics and journos get paid say whatever bullshit, but jannies have been doing such communist tactics by erasing most negative reviews on any product for years

The fact that Naughty Dog can only update the graphics of two single games and add skins tells me there is basically nothing left in that shithole but some graphics artists really.
