Only semi related to Phil being fat, since it made me think of Phil's favorite foods.

Does he ever do sauce streams anymore? Or did Kat finally cure him of that entirely after insisting he change up his multiple cups of sugar recipe.

Phil's sauce stirring streams were icons, but it feels like he's totally stopped them and cooking entirely.

No because, and I kid you not, they can't find the proper Italian style tomatoes. Buying them requires him to drive around for half an hour or something. Yes, he is that retarded.

Also it's only a half hour drive because he won't get on the highway. I think it's a cope to excuse Kat telling him to knock the fucking sauce autism off.

he got made fun of relentlessly for his cup noodles (tried to eat them with a spoon) video and for his original "authentic italian style sauce with the sugar" video and it made him scared to ever do videos like that again. i think you even get instabanned if you ask him about cooking videos. he is too scared to do anything besides board room meetings about donations and talking about his schedule.

Not cooking videos, but Phil on the regular (about once a month or every other month) would have a 'sauce stream' where he would regularly waddle off camera to go stir his sugar sauce.

They were frequent enough that the lack of them has been noticeable to me, because it was a tradition going as far back as I can think of with DSP.

During the early Soulmaid Era when Kat was " cooking" and DSP was posting photos of it, there was some kerfuffle with him and Kat insisting that she be allowed to stir the sauce and change the sugar content.

Early on when she moved in, Dave would post on his Instagram meals she made along with things like cookies or brownies. You can see it in the Cooking with Kat thread. It seemed to peter off and the impression people (or at least I) got was that Kat asked him to stop photographing their food. This coincided with some stuff like everyone making fun of Phil for posting photos that were clearly box brownies/cake and frozen meals. It seems like Phil has given up on Instagram anyways, so could be part of it.

But even before Cooking with the King and into the Leanna days, there was always Sauce. It was a specific point of Phil's schedule autism that sauce day be maintained. So either Kat told him to fuck off or his doctor told him to stop devouring sugar via tomato puree. Phil doesn't just stop doing shit that's a part of his inflexible schedule.

As a Tekken player, this whole playthrough is a hilarious trainwreck:
  • DSP switched from Paul to Jun in Tekken 8 because he noticed Death Fist does considerably less damage now, but Jun's attacks from stance allow her to heal HP. The only problem is EVERY character has the ability to heal, due to the new damage system. To keep it simple: when you block an attack, your character takes a small amount of chip damage; that chip damage can be healed by landing an attack on the opponent regardless if the attack lands or is blocked. Dashing from a Heat Engager also recovers a shit ton of Life.

    DSP is once again using short term solutions to solve his lack of execution in 3D fighting games.Pick Cervantes in Soulcalibur 6 because he has big damage. Pick Paul in Tekken 7 because he has big damage. Pick Zangief because he has high health. Pick Blanka because he's easy. Pick Jun because she heals. Fucking scrub.

  • LMAO DSP is calling the game "laggy" because that Devil Jin he fought did a Korean Backdash!

  • I can't fucking believe that DSP lost to Kuma, who ties with Panda for being the worst character in the game! And he's still making excuses! And yeah, Phil, Kuma's hitting you with his version of Eletric Wind Godfist, the literal only good thing about Bears in this game. "I dunno what he hit me with!" Jesus Christ...

  • Anytime DSP says "BLOCK!" you know he's not doing it. He tried to sneak a sidestep in despite Kuma's Rage Art tracking in all directions. And then he tries to act so confused. It's Tekken, Phil. You just have to hold back on the stick, holy fucking shit.
DSP seriously needs to run back to SF6. Tekken is a game for big boys, Phil. You aren't ready. Go back to being carried by Blanka and hiding after topping in ranked.

I think it really picked up with Khet. I think it's a combination of a few things. Leanna, as far as we can tell, was a better/more willing (even if she had to be dragged out of bed when sick) cook than Khet is. Phil never seemed all that happy eating Khet food, and there was the potato complaint back in the day. I think Door Dash also became more of a thing during the pandemic, with so many more people ordering in. Phil's also become more comfortable with his hermit lifestyle, and Khet seems to be embracing it as well. With Leanna, she might have at least insisted if they're not going to cook, they should go out, but it sounds like Khet isn't even joining Phil on his days out anymore, so they don't even waddle to a restaurant anymore and just order in. I think the pandemic also increased Phil's paranoia, so he's even more motivated to be a glutton and order in.

All that matters is the idea of Phil having a mo-waif exists so he can flex on others with it. Even her presence was not required and in fact was unfavorable until he was forced to bring her back.

For khet yeah, she's not hopping on Tinder and sifting through her pick of thousands of likes from the cream of the hunky men in her current state. Free room and food and utilities and until recently not being required to do anything for it was a pretty good deal.
