Yeah it's interesting because his voice seems to be shot pretty frequently in the past month or two. I didn't even think of that as a possibility until he said that.

The only (normal) medical issue I can imagine that requires staying up to be with someone would be a concussion, but if that were the case it wouldn't be a reason to be secretive. Nor does it match his most recent comments about being in a period where something could still go wrong. As to his voice, well, his voice has clearly degraded in the past months from drinking so much. He never used to sound so scratchy and sickly when doing that weird low voice that a parent does when speaking down to a troublesome child. But he literally made a joke in that swinger stream about messing up his throat by sucking that guy's cock, which does not paint him in the best light now.

It's all a very weird series of events for which it's difficult to find a good explanation.

This is probably one of the things that Nick likes to mock with 'online speculation', but it is strange that he seems to have a constantly scratchy voice. Naively, I used to think it was alcoholic dehydration. I got laryngitis a LOT when I did a few months of tutorial assistance in uni and had to talk a lot without increasing my fluid intake.

You would think that he would learn to take care of it. Plenty of public speakers, voice actors, and singers handle this all the time. I think the easiest explanation is laziness and poor diet. Regardless of reason, I think that it is embarrassing for someone who makes their living off talking.

The “medical issue” could be Kayla is off her meds or is under medicated or all the booze from the hot tub party got her out of whack or from Nick’s perspective, she’s acting crazy. Maybe they’ve been fighting constantly & he’s had to keep an eye on her to prevent her from self harming or something like that. He only made the one comment about sometimes when you’re a dad you have to do thing like that (stay up all night with “someone”) but in the Elissa clips video of the Locals stream he said all the kids are “fantastic”, they are all doing fine.
