Was it so hard to say that they are the most treasured hunt by angels? Or that their victims or people that aided them make sure that they are targeted by angels? Or that some become overlords like Alastor and change their names?
Just imagine the power dynamics in hell. Imagine a nobody that ends up in there and decides to scheme his way to the top by sacrificing famous warlords and dictators. You have eternity to play with, you could reasonably establish a line of OCs that were absolute non entities in life but became big players in eternal damnation. Like the prison analogy establish factions of soldiers, petty criminals and cultists and that hellborn became complacent because humans are fucked up enough, hence the excuse to satisfy the angels' blood lust. You could establish that the stable population of hell are morally grey people that cull absolute monsters on their own and are trapped in a perpetual cycle of inflicting pain on one another.
But that would need some imagination I don't have.

There is an argument in favour of that, just in terms of the tone and execution of later seasons. Hard to truly say. I mentioned before how Hazbin follows in the footsteps Tumblr-era media trying to preach how people can be "redeemed", but at the same time it inevitably comes with that trademark Tumblr hypocrisy to boot. I did know someone in College who was a huge SU fan and was into the typical Tumblrite stuff, and she had Hazbin stuff pulled up on her laptop last time I saw her before graduation. Make of that what you will.

Isn't the Radio Demon a serial killer or something when he was alive? Not to mention that the whole concept of the show is that there's a genocide that happens constantly to keep Hell's population in check and it seems weird that Hitler would somehow be unique to what we've seen from others. Maybe if she claimed he was offed because they were worried that he'd take over if left unchecked so they got rid of him out of fear of that.

Vivz' ongoing problem is she never sticks to her premise. She makes promises that draws everyone in then drops it for teenage melodrama. Having the overlords be responsible for keeping the far worse monsters suppressed or dead to justify their own depravity would be more interesting than "Vox is a faggot tech bro, Val is a faggot rapist, and Velvette is the DEI hire." Alas, Alastor was apparently a monster before he got put on someone's leash.

Slay the Princess made the co-antagonist and antagonist one without even fucking trying and was a tour-de-force of illusion and delusion of false reality, key components of the theology it borrowed from, and the people who made that are a faggy twink and a fat chick that married for some reason, so it's not like tumblrs and people of identity can't actually be creative. They had to be!

Vivz made furbait and bandied about representation so she got passes. STP was a passion project by a writer and an illustrator who put in the work, reached out for voice talent, and then treated them well, instead of bad, but because there's only minimal furbait (The Witch) it's not as big as hazbin's fandumb. Even if The Witch was self aware and probably pandering on some level, it made sense, had internal consistency, and had more character in a VN than Hazbin's managed to pull off with 8 episodes. You also got The Thorn and The Wild as paths from there, which were really, really well done, and makes me wonder what Hazbin could have been if Vivz stuck to character designs and animation and didn't make her f-list roleplays into scripts for a show on Amazon.

I didn't really find Slay the Princess that interesting, but it was still fun probably because it was short enough and the meat princess was a good design. The problem with Vivzie's projects for me seem like she has a good flow to her animation, and some ok initial ideas, but when those things are flushed out there's very little substance and she leans very heavily on profanity over substance. It just seems like a whole lot of lost potential because instead of finding someone to work with that's a good writer she brought in random retards who think "capitalism bad, gay good" is the pinnacle of writing. She didn't even have to aspire to being deep or great, she just needed to reach mediocrity and she failed at even that at this point.

The real STP, where it's The Shifting Mound cradling the mortal vessels you bring her while both of you are trying to figure out what's really going on, and what you are, the Narrator's bullshit, and the big reveal of Shifty's true self? That interested me. The individual paths or lives lived were fun, yes, and some of the interplay between the other shards of yourself (and The Spectre even seeing the shards of glass on the floor, never mind talking to The Narrator herself once she possesses you) was pretty fun, but the metagame and the ending is what made me complete all achievements and even think about making a VN myself.

I also hate this shitty reality and the thought of a Vedic goddess saying "Hey part of me, I missed you, let's go start another universe and transcend this awful reality" is a nice daydream. Sigh.

Meanwhile, Vivz with all the depth of a shallow creek, gets her shit on Amazon, while talented people with oceans to share never get the time of day, to quote someone written well.

That's something I never understood, the idea that it's cool to make someone the hero of the show essentially because he only killed and ate a few people instead of a lot of people. I'm not saying you have to pearl clutch about anything out there, but at least be consistent and have fun with it as Hitler has been in tons of media in a comedic way. Rick and Morty had Abraham Lincoln merged with Hitler as a good guy, Kung Fury had detective Hitler, and I'm sure there are plenty more examples. All of those are generally seen as leftist media that people love so it's not like her tribe would cancel her.

I think it just shows how vapid she is when it comes to writing.

It's okay. More abrupt and honest about intimacy and the human experience than SU. The VAs aren't as good as SU, but they have musical numbers that are good which I viewed as a weakness of SU. I really did like the cell phone ringing song though.

Sure, Hazbin Hotel can swear and make sex jokes but that's standard for adult animations, it's influences not only pushed the envelope for their time but they probably wouldn't even get green-lit for TV today.
