He's not a medical professional, just a psychologist. He'd have to be a psychiatrist to be a medical professional. Psychiatrists are MDs and psychologists at the same time but he's just a psychologist.

JP doesn't see God as being a personal being with omnipotent governance. Instead, his a more of that boomer deism that sees God as that bearded old man in the clouds, loftily looking down at silly humans from above and intervening here and there on a whim. Even Christians kind of adopt this mindset and rather than treat the world as if God is everywhere, they just see themselves as responsible for bolting "Christianity" onto everything as if God isn't already present.

He has talked about Jesus Christ at times, but I don't know if he realizes just how important the divinity of Christ actually is and how that separates Christians from Muslims and Jews. Has JP ever acknowledged that Jesus is the Son of God?

That's wrong. Psychiatrists are NOT psychologists. They are MDs who work mostly with the prescription part of mental health and work together with psychologists to find the correct path for treatment. They are trained in different things, for example psychologists can't prescribe medicine, and psychiatrists are not trained in psychometrics (imagine a psychiatrist doing a Rorschach test, lol) or guiding a patient in therapy sessions.

But I understand the confusion, since there is a lot of overlap because they work together and both have to know quite a bit about the other's specialties for an effective treatment to occur.

Thank you. I knew they manage psych meds but I thought they were basically a psychologist and medical doctor rolled into one.

Peterson is calling Cuban racist and expressing how crass he finds the idea that the way people think is different because they are a different race.

Also if you have preconditions for the most qualified x for a position whether race gender, race and gender or other, it means you will almost certainly pass over more qualified people, because you have additional requirements that disqualify the even more competent people that you could have had for your company.

For example, Peterson decided that the best person to interview him about the social media training was his most qualified daughter, and it resulted in a hard to watch interview where the most memorable moment was how he lovingly and proudly looked at her, which really didn't advance his business goals. This is probably why he is a millionaire and cuban a billionaire.
