Not so much being another reason but there were probably people digging on them as Luckey's girlfriend is a open ProGG. Because of this many people were more willing to label him white supremacist outright. That and the fact the Occolus initial release this year was a shitstorm.
(Thought my impression is that he seems to being set up to generate controversy as he sounds more naive about internet political slap fights than a closeted Trump supporter)

Malka justified all the Trump ads people were complaining about (10 Trump threads a day and you wonder why you get Trump ads) by saying he was taking money from Trump and serving ads to people that would never click them.

I get that boycotting is a legitimate way to protest, but doing this just seems petty and meaningless. I mean, I'm no fan of Trump myself, but it's not like he's using the money he has to actively fund Trump's campaign, so what's the point in boycotting him? All you're doing is showing you can't handle people who have opinions you disapprove of.

All of these games are not very long (Except MGSV) but all of them are easy to put down and pick up again. MGSV has missions, SoC can literally be played one boss at a time and then you can take a break, Wind Waker can easily be divided into dungeons, while MGS3, while outstanding, is short.
How bad are these guys at dividing time? I've got a busy full-time job and, yeah, free-time is more valuable, but it hasn't stopped me from gaming, you just have to look at how you spend your time and manage it.
