I'd imagine most dictators would have a ton of people with a grudge against them. Imagine Hitler being faced down by any group of people who died because he started the war. You have Poles, Frenchman, Russians, Jews and more who would want to kick his ass and almost none of the resources of third Reich.

That goes both ways, since Hitler and other dictators also had a lot of people fighting for them who'd also be sent to Hell. If anything, human wars would just continue in Hell and be fought with whatever weapons the warring sinners could get their hands on, with everyone else either staying clear of them or exploiting the conflicts to their advantage.

Now that I think about it, a sudden surge in Hell's population due to mass casualty events like war and the ramifications thereof would've been pretty interesting to explore in the hands of a more competent writer, considering that objects like the Grimoire and demons like succubi can travel to Earth.

Just imagine the politics of demons exploiting the exterminations by causing mass death on Earth through their deals with powerful humans. The sudden flood of sinners would trigger the exterminations early, destabilizing Hell enough for the new overlords to fill the power vacuum.

There was a reference to Hitler wayyyy back in heluva boss first true episode. But frankly I can just imagine him, ghadaffi and all the others rejoining up with their armies and confidante (Hitler, Goering. Goobels) and essentially picking up where they left of on earth..he'll THEM be behind the exterminations or at least the ones who gave Adam the idea. In exchange for protection when they happen.










But no why would we want demon zombie nazis raiding buildings with angels like when they were alive lining sinners against walls again JUST like when they were alive all while zombie Hitler watches from his own little reichstag built in downtown pride when we can have frathouse jerkwad Adam who looks like a middle aged dad simping for the the literal first thot, and mother of all thots.

I love arguments where you have to hyperfixate over one aspect of the thing you're trying to defend because as soon as you look at the bigger picture the thing you're trying to defend is flawed beyond repair.

The swearing in the South Park Movie was the main plotline, but most importantly, the humor from the South Park Movie came from Matt & Trey actually being good at satire. They mocked Americans and Canadians and that was the main humor of the movie. It was edgy in the sense that the jokes were made at the expense of others, and the jokes were actually funny.

Vivzie on the other hand doesn't know how to be edgy, and her idea of being edgy is swearing and making sex jokes for the sake of swearing and making sex jokes. There is no punchline, there are no jokes made at an expense of someone else, it's just the most bland shit you can think of. You're expected to have a Pavlovian response because you heard a rude word or a sex joke.

So yeah, the South Park Movie had more swears than Hazbin Hotel, but that's not why one is considered a timeless classic and the other is being mocked to death. This can only work if you're a brain dead retard that can only hyperfixate on one aspect of something. The thing is that people who criticize Hazbin Hotel aren't like that, the ones that mindlessly praise it are.

All the repetitive swearing really makes me wonder how these scriptwriters usually talk. Adam practically uses swears as punctuation; in every official clip of him talking, a solid two thirds of his lines are coated in censors.

Also I only watched till episode 4 so maybe I may be wrong but... The "Hotel" in "Hazbin Hotel" is going to be an actual plot... right?
Also also, I think the princess of hell -I forgot her name- should have worked at the purgatory or something, that would make the redemption more believable I think and it's canon in the christian lore

The pilot was released in 2019 and the plot had been developed beforehand via livestreams and artwork and was made by an already fairly popular creator. If the leaks are true, the built-in fanbase that Hazbin had was the main reason it got picked up by A24/Amazon.

A lot of the reason why people supported Hazbin was because the concept of some random schmuck making a proper TV show off of what started as YouTube animations was kind of a new thing iirc.
