I wouldn't place the blame for that entirely on conservatives and businessmen. I'd argue it is a convenient way to explain away shitty educators, and let's be honest, the left has done their fair share of damage to the occupation. With the KGB infiltration into higher education institutions and shit like teachers' unions, the system was already long cooked. Treating anybody who is willing to teach as some sort of gift to humanity has been just as disastrous, because the truly shitty educators will never truly be out of a job.
Our garbage education system was truly a heavily bipartisan effort, and it is fucked beyond any repair.

But seeing him speak without someone interfering was like looking into my past with my grandfather. He had moments of lucidity where he realized he said something that made zero sense and he'd trail off and get real quiet as he tried to figure out how to properly articulate...but it wouldn't come to him.

It's a horror show. This man should spend his last years/months with his loved ones at home. He needs to be protected from himself, if he is the one pushing for his participation in the election. But I doubt that he is.

(He doesn't have a choice, and because of the wild split of his party, he's probably damned either way.) But in the process, he ends up somehow confusing Egypt for Mexico. That's the first major gaffe I remember Biden making, in I guess 2008. He was campaigning for a state senator named Chuck Graham, and at a rally he told the guy to 'stand up'... The problem is that Graham was a paraplegic (and had been for decades before that event even). Even if Biden had known that "Chuck" couldn't stand, Joe was literally sent there to... "stump" for him. I am truly sorry for that "stump" joke. There have been s many more though...

No, an age limit isn't needed. Trump is fine. He isn't too old. What we need is some type of cognitive and health test. Something that can be trusted. Age doesn't matter as much. I have seen young people that don't make any fucking sense. But older people that do. We could also throw some type of intelligence test in there as well.
