Ok, I finished the entire thing, basically more political sperging and "debunking" Lunduke. I mean TBF Lunduke is kind of a cooky Maga Boomer, but Nicco basically made it all a political rant. The rest was mostly unnotable except for a few things.

1 Nicco cried in the middle of making it. lol
2 Nicco went after the editor of a Linux magazine to get Luduke's article pulled, which is extremely scummy; he even admits Luduke lives rent-free in his head.
3 vtuber and imo garbage Linux YouTuber Traoftin plans to make a video on switched to Linux for his Christian and libertarian leaning views.that he keeps on his second channel Also, Nicco planned to make this video a general Linux YouTuber whos politics. I don't like call-out videos but decided against it.

So overall, I feel like Nicco made this in pretty bad faith, and what could have been a reasonable video calling out Luduke for things like him paywalling his content despite being strongly opposed to it in the past, then disabling his comment section despite supporting free speech or him writing reviews in favor of the librem phone without disclosing his relationship with them etc but instead he made this an attack video based on political disagreements.

I watched Luke Smith in the past. He has really good guides on vim and he's based, though I feel in his political podcasts he bootlicks too much monarchy or he sees medieval times as better than today
Also I may be an autist, but not as autist as him to switch to full tiling, cli only environment. I use both cli and gui.

Are there any lean-right places that discuss this confrontation?
I will not sit and watch long videos of both of them.

I watched few of Nicco's videos related to EU legislation / and I believe he was good at these topics.
I already knew he was leftist once I saw the Sexual orientation flag and the typical lightning some of these youtubers use.
But he didn't push those visions in his videos so I tolerate and appreciate videos like this.

Here I am afraid it will get ugly... Strawmen or probably will feel threatened by any right-wing opinion.

I know very little about Lunduke. I only saw the Red Hat DEI scandal and I feel he is right this topic wasn't discussed in any publication. I wish we, socially conservative, lean-right, had more friends.

Sadly these groups are in the form of Telegram groups and I had the displeasure to interact with him in an italian Linux/Tech related group (and no I am not gonna reveal my powerlevel for obvious reasons) but I will tell you this: I distinctly remember that we all made fun of him because he was actually compiling a list of "undesiderables" that were not allowed in the Italian KDE Telegram group.
Shit was really funny not gonna lie
Edit: I would not compare Niccolò to Drew De Vault, the latter is an even worse retard. Niccolò in comparison is a small fish but I could be wrong: I do not know if he got involved in any drama to be honest.

A lot of what's in the copypasta is taken directly from Stallman, or is close enough and autistic enough that he couldn't tell the difference between it and something he would have said.

As to the actual origin, I am reasonably sure I saw it in the mid 2000's on Kuro5hin. I think I remember Trollaxor being one of those who used to riff on it back then, but no reason to think he was the originator or that I'm remembering things properly, he was a very good poster and I might be crediting him with things he didn't do. I doubt it was originated on /g/. Probably on some Usenet group or a real forum like Slashdot or Kuro5hin.

Absolute nonsense. X11 was designed to display windows on screens. It was flexible enough to operate well across a network- something I did myself back in the mid 00's- but it still works fantastically running locally and has scaled well over time. The only reason the enemies tried to replace it was that they weren't having success in shitting systemd into it.

Now I think about it- I've been using an old convertible laptop tablet thing around the house, but it's short on memory for serious tab usage. Time to set up XDM and just use it remotely connecting to a real computer.
EDIT: X11 servers have been being subjected to intense security testing for longer than any Wayland faggot has been alive. Some final minor bugs were detected with fuzzing back in 1995, before being fixed in XFree86.

It just becomes a matter of whether or not future work on X11 takes its fixtures into account.
