That's just stake servers lagging. He had $1600, lost 800 in two bets, but his balance didn't update for either of them. So when he bets the third 400, it subtracts his assumed balance down to 1200 for the split second of the bet, then syncs up to his real balance of 400 after he loses.

1. you set your multiplier (BMJ usually goes for 2x)
2. you hit the button
3. RNG
4. if the number that comes up is higher than the multiplier, you win, and it gives you back your bet with the multiplier attached. ex. your multiplier is 2x, you bet $50, you win and it gives you $100. Your multiplier is 4x, you win and you get $200. Austin doesn't really fuck with the multiplier, just his bet amount. I'm unsure if the multiplier affects your odds of winning.
5. if the number that comes up is lower than the multiplier, you lose.

I'm like 99% sure that's how it works. Basically it's just an RNG fest where you click the button and it gives you money or it doesn't.
