That aside, I do echo the idea that we need different time periods to horror on about. I am a fag so instantly I thought the 50s-70s post-war/ cold war era.
WW2 is overplayed so maybe WW1. Or shit, the Korean War.
Or hell, do something with plague doctors but take it to eldritch proportions, plus the added inherent horror of the bubonic plague.

I think it's very telling there's now other ARG creators who are suddenly being like "I'm making a new animated series" after animation became the new primary focus / trend for storytelling, instead of what used to be slenderverse / meatsleep goyslop or when Twitter was a popular storytelling method.
It shows how much they only care about ARGs when it comes to bandwagoning off of possible popularity and not the actual art of storytelling. They're so quick to create new stuff then abandon it after the hype dies down, or if something new and trendy appears to focus on that could get them attention. Analog horror show that it doesn't matter how good you are, people will eat it up regardless.
And unfortunately, creators like Nexpo or NightMiind who are responsible for bringing those people attention are none of the wiser of how shallow they are. They actively promote these people, not realizing they're being used and that the person's main motive to to grift. Hell, those same people will try and ask for money after they've gotten success. Repeatedly. Because they're an "artist" and "guys, being an artist is soooo hard".
Thing is with those people, regarding of genre, is that nothing they make will last. Eventually they get outed for being (insert degeneracy here) or they burn themselves out or both. When it comes to creating art, doing it for fame and money is the number one killer of motivation.
You mostly see these people start off as troons or troon out or otherwise be apart of the virtue signaling crowd, which ends up biting them in the ass in the end.
just had to point that out because it's this pattern I keep noticing in the community that's been here since Day 1 that no one seems to mention. I guess it's moreso an "art community" problem in general.

There's a certain lifeless quality to it and I wonder if it's amplified by the filters. It's like looking into the eyes of a skinwalker incapable of understanding basic human functions beyond a surface level and thus has no issue committing horrible crimes without a hint of remorse.
Yet somehow being completely and fully sane of mind in a way that's peak callousness of calculated brutality.
For me, the facial expression amplifies everything because it's like some inhuman creature trying to emulate natural facial behaviors yet there's something supremely off by it.
It has a very uncanny feel to it.
Speaking of the vileness of mankind;

And I just...I mean, this guy had lost his car, his job, and his apartment and he was suicidal but struggled to just end his life. That sucks but why stab innocent children in the process? Cases like these upset me as much as the cowardly pilots who purposely kill 300+ people and themselves by deliberately crashing planes for insurance reasons or insane grudges.
His stated motive outright floors me. "I wanted the public to know that even clever and wealthy children can be killed in five or so seconds."
Evidently, it stems from his youth and hatred/envy of rich people.

i've been thinking of throwing together a bunch of grayscale portraits, voice lines being read out by microsoft sam, white text on a black background that is supposed to be a ghost haunting the tape, and a bit where it freezes on a scary face, then uploading the video to youtube and posting it on youtubers' discord servers
it would probably be forgotten like every other clone but itd be interesting if it had any coverage

Sorry to double post, but it amazes me the double standard there is for troons compared to actual women.
If a woman causally talks about how many surgeries she's gotten, people would dogpile her. Calling her shallow, or maybe even offering support. Saying she doesn't need all those surgeries, how it's toxic for her, etc.
But when troons do it, they get applauded despite it being even more shallow and pathetic compared to women doing it. Imagine openly admitting how many surgeries you gotten like this. And yet, he STILL looks like shit lol
Also why can't troons realize that their obesity should be fixed first before they get any work done?

I hate to defend urbanspooks writing, but analog horror e-celeb would probably be praising the series if the serial killers didn't rape. Seeing how the same people are crying, Urbanspooks praised Basswood country. It's borderline John Carpenter the thing fan fiction. Monsters killing families, including kids, and mutilating their bodies is okay. Because the aliens aren't raping anyone. Also, there is a good reason why Urbanspooks is so graphic about sexual crimes. 80% are sure the series is inspired by Ottis Toole and Henry Lee Lucas. A gay serial killer couple that tortured, raped and cannibalized victims. Ottis Toole admitted to killing Adam Walsh. Son of the host of America most wanted.
