I don't think they've lost their edge, nor do I think it will ever fully go away, but it is being dulled and will likely become duller in the furure. Gone are the days of the Rage stream and Shiina's KF sponsored burka and I'm not entirely sure how to feel about it.
I think you're too focused on Pippa. She can't do something like talk about the Gunt getting his shit kicked in anymore because you can't be a professional and fight with retards on the internet. Hell, she wasn't supposed to talk about him anyways, got in trouble over it, and
@thhrang got fired because he didnt stop her. Her later response to the Gunt's doxing stream was far better, more professional, and I'd argue funnier than the Portugal stream. She acknowledged it by completely ignoring it and making it known she was ignoring it. Iirr her most famous clip
came from that stream. Pippa hasn't lost her edge. She's just not talking about niche retards on the internet.
Phase Connect as a whole isn't losing it's edge either. Lia talks about weirdo shit almost weekly in her deep dives which is far far better than when she spent that 2-3 week period reading rape and feet lemons. I argue that if anything, Phase Connect is honing itself.
I remember the Shiina KF censor bar. I remember her wearing it during the Minecraft colab. It was one of the sweetest things that she ever did for us.
I also think it was an incredibly bad idea. That was during September of 2022, the height of DKF, when it looked like the site very well may be lost AND child grooming men were threatening to hunt us down and make it so we couldn't even work. A year and a half later we all know it for the bullshit it was but we didn't then. A good chunk of the posters here fled to the refugee camp over it and I don't blame them. I say all that to say I don't need or want any of them to validate the site or protect it. We are a bunch of spergs and we are always retarded. I want them safe and prosperous so they can continue to be silly and fun.
Feel free to give me stickers, but for future posterity I want to put down that I think Dokibird is full menhera and all the Nijilivers she's tossing accusations at will be vindicated in time.
I'd be willing to agree if it wasn't for the fact that she's been very level headed and the craziness is coming from the million dollar company that weaponized what remains of her coworkers.
