Palworld - Everything you have ever wanted from a Pokemon game

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Listen I know everyone gets access to these alpha types but it's probably this big dumb thing that's got my heart right now. The shadowbeak is also fun to ride around.

Relaxaurus Lux quite literally doesn't exist on the map in a non-alpha state. You have to breed it in the pen to get a smaller version.

Also I found the Digtoise equivalent for logging. I was trying my luck out with pals that had either 3 in logging or logging-boosting passive since the yellow shotgun demanded a crazy amount of carbon fiber. PSA - Mammorest is shit, even with its trademark earthen impact skill, which needed 3 hits to fell a tree (could be a level issue, since he was 32 and 0 stars). Same goes for Warsect. I eventually got tired and got on my Mossanda Lux, then proceeded to blast away at the forest near my base and the game suddenly started dropping frames hard, which was weird since the trees weren't disappearing "enough" given the damage being displayed (around 3800). Then I saw wood literally raining from the sky into a fuckhuge pile across the field. The nades leveled the trees so quick the game was unable to catch up. Disclaimer, he is 4* so the launcher is at level 5.

Given the sheer money made off this game, it would honestly be a missed opportunity to not do some kind of merchandising. The game may be aimed at an older audience than Pokémon, but I could see plushes and small figures similar to Pokémon selling well enough to make a handsome profit as long as they don't go overboard with it.
I doubt so. Even if they know that some adults in the United States would buy plushies, Palworld is not a children's game.
Then again, there are plushies of Raiho fro MegaTen and Happy from Happy!

Small figures are fair game, though their finances are something else, even during this Palworld fad.

I finished the Paldeck and managed to get the Legendary Rocket Launcher schematic to drop.

Still have to finish two of the towers, but the one in the snow area has like 250k health and is like bleh. Might just make a Hard world and give that a go.

Sounds like the climate activists will be whining as hard as Peta soon that the game glorifies deforestation.

In fairness it absolutely does because after reading that I 100% wish to dynamite a forested area in a manner that would make Hexxus proud (in Palworld).

I just caught my first Legendary (Frostallion) and I've got a complaint. The catch rate for throwing a back shot while it's asleep is only like half of what the Pal gets when it's at under 10 hp. It really seems like throwing a ball and running away at night is really the strategy. Also holy fuck is this thing fast.
3 towers, 3 Legendaries and a boss Pal that I can't find the entrance to it's mineshaft is all I have left. Not crafted a single thing off blueprints though.
I'm just going to up the hell out of drop rate from here on. I'm more or less sick of mining.

I feel Ive hit a slowing down point and dont know what to focus on to speed things up.

Iam level 22, have 2 bases (one focused on ore). And leveling up feels really slow now. Is it better to focus even more on streamlining my bases, or trying to run around killing things and beating the towers?

If you're only focusing on leveling up, just keep catching pals for the bonus. Most of the game, I just picked small goals, like a particular boss, and hammered at it until I got far enough along to take care of it.

Fast?
You ain't seen anything yet. Frostallion will help significantly with the next important mount though since it's mount ability give your shots Ice-Element. I don't blame you for cranking up drop rate on mining, you need so much fucking ore for Pal and Refined ingots that it's sickening. I personally turn off the death penalty then mine some spots I have marked and respawn back to base to beat the weight limit issue.

Imo the best thing to do is work towards getting a functional Ranch/Breeding farm before going out and killing bosses and such. 4 Star production Pals are beyond fucking useful and with the sheer amount of stuff you need to make, having them cuts out so much damn time. My 4* Jormuntide Ignis can make 1000 ingots in less than a minute, while something like a Suzaku would take 10+ minutes. 4* Artisan Serious Anubis' are fucking insane crafters. The best bet for exp overall is catch bonuses, but if you're playing with a 1x multiplier, getting to 50 will be a slog as the potential for decent exp gain starts evaporating the more catch bonuses you complete. If you're on a single player world, I'd say increment the multiplier every 10 levels or so to keep progression reasonable as the current base exp curve is definitely tempered to a multiplayer server experience.

That's what I've been doing. Crash a big deposit and respawn. It's really the only way to do it without getting creative with base location.

I got the rest of the Legendaries now... except Jetagon who I assume you're talking about. I might have to just blast that thing with spheres while it's asleep... accidentally got one of the pair in the desert like that. Just threw a ball each and was about to start the fight and got one... The rest of them I've been hunting with "fair chase" rules... gotta wear them down before the capture.

Edit: While I got wrecked my first couple of tries on him, once I got most of my Pals to 50 it was surprisingly doable. Not a walk in the park, but easy enough.... Now just got to clear the towers.

Anyone interested in a server just for kiwis? I have a spare server in the basement, and it's just gathering dust.

edit: I would get your steamId when you join. Full disclosure just how the server works. Just don't make your username the same as your one on the farms.
Yes, absolutely! Anything to get away from my currently solo experience.

Edit so as to not double-post, anyone remember when PETA made their Pokémon parody Black and Blue? What if that's what Palworld's true inspiration is?

Nintendofags having a normal one

Lol what a tard. I mean, you can be angry if an inspiration taking game tanks so bad that it hurts the one it took inspiration from, but not to this suicidal level.

I dislike the Rebel Moon shit, as it is a bad W40k/Dune/SW ripoff that tarnishes the originals' quality. But I don't think on it much. Just annoying.

But Palword isn't a bad game that would turn people off pokeymans for good.
