Most autistic thing you've purchased lately - c'mon feel the cringe

Damn dude that has to suck. Soundgarden (and grunge bands in general) are great.
Eh, I'll go back in a week or two and fetch it if it's still there. If not, the seller is this cool old lady, I can probably ask her to make me another print of it.
There was also a cool Django Reinhardt photo my grandpa would have loved. Miss you, old man.
It really isn’t, another reason I like collecting old photos is because I’m a photographer myself
Yeah, I think you need a special eye and knowledge of photography to really appreciate them. Like I said, fascinating stuff, but it would be lost on me.

There was a photo I liked but didn't buy, I recognized Chris Cornell in it but wasn't sure the band was Soundgarden (could have been fucking Audioslave). Looked it up and sure enough, it was Soundgarden. To my shame, I was wearing a Soundgarden shirt today, too.
Hey, Chris Cornell carried Audioslave on his back and showed the world that RATM was truly hobbled by the communist dickhead singer/frontman.

I needed a toothbrush and just grabbed one off the shelf like I normally do.

Its been an enlightening experience, I normally only buy those cheap 3 pack brushes and use them til they wear out. This one I tried and it was wonderful, its hard to describe but it was both soft and refreshing at the same time. Never going back to cheap toothbrushes again, its even weighted down so it has a balanced feel in the hand its nuts.

Make sure to get disclosing tablets too! They stain your teeth with safe dye that colors any tartar and plaque on your teeth so you can be doubly sure you've cleaned everything.

Bought another set of little Sanrio drawers. I've cut down the scrapbooking hoard by eighty percent, but I still have too much shit for the currently dedicated drawers, and unless I want to ditch even more hoard, or else completely change the system I've set up, I'm going to need more space.

I could just buy some large storage drawers instead of the little cute ones I'm accumulating, but the little drawers serve the purpose of keeping the various themes separate and I don't have to dig through a huge single bundle. Also the little drawers are adorable.

I also bought more stickers. But they're of fancy rats so they don't count as part of the hoard.

New phone contract, my current one doesn’t have enough data so I end up buying extra most months.
Upgraded to unlimited calls/texts and 70GB of data which I can also use for tethering. 30 day rolling for £9.95pm. Apparently there’s cash back too but I can’t see that happening, that shit never works.

I got some easter themed sonic the hedgehog figures because the christmas ones I found out about were sold out and scalped for ridiculous prices and I don't want to pay 80 fucking dollars to have a literal easter egg colored eggman or pink knuckles. Weird video game merch like this is something that always intrigues me.

A vintage (late 1960s or early 1970s) ST DuPont lighter.

Made in FRANCE, it's filled with pressurized butane so unlike a Zippo it doesn't dry out.

Brand new ones are.... No shit.... $1000.

This one was 1/10 that price and is gold plated with a pretty pattern on the body.
Cigar smoker? I know those are quite popular on that community.

Thread tax:
Been buying different guitar parts and repair tools and hot-rodding/upgrading/modifying my guitars over and over. I love soldering the pickups in different wiring combinations or with them in different positions or guitars. I love setting them up and doing the finishing work and really feeling the difference that makes each one unique.
Next up will be a 3d printer to make some custom parts like knobs/switch tips/pickup bobbins. Eventually would love to go full in and build my own customs from scratch.

I've ordered a traditional Chinese tea cup, with a (of course) design of a rat on the side, also in traditional Chinese style. It hasn't arrived yet though. It's quite small according to the description, however, that really doesn't matter since even I'm not stupid enough to drink/eat out of a receptacle purchased from Aliexpress.

I also ordered some ceramic beads- yes, shaped like rats- weeks and weeks ago, but they seem to have vanished into the postal system labyrinth. In another week's time I can file a claim, but I'm really hoping that they show up by then

A couple of new drill bits off of eBay. I bought some pretty pots for succulents last week, but completely forgot to check for drainage holes until I got home, and discovered that there were none. Ceramic drill bits were the one drill bit I didn't have. I was hoping to get the new succulents I got with my Christmas gift card into proper pots this weekend, but the weather has segued from stinking hot to pissing rain. Very annoying all round.

Man, their being 1/12 of the lunar zodiac sure makes being a rat person expensive.

I'm a cat person myself, so I don't have too much trouble resisting cute things when Year of the Tiger rolls around.

That's beautiful! Where is it from?

I really envy cat people. You can get cat merch from literally anywhere.

First rat snuff bottle on eBay; I honestly thought that they'd have some of those cool red ones in rat flavor, but the red sandalwood rat snuff bottles aren't as good at the monkey ones.

You'd think the abundance of cat merch is a good thing, until you get cat-themed gifts on every occasion from everyone forever. Sturgeon's Law states that "90% of everything is crap," so you have grandmas and Secret Santas kneejerk picking out the first thing they see with a cat stamped on it, without running it through their conscious mind to determine if it's a cute cat or not. At least people painting rats on things know that they have to design it well, because people who like rats are probably buying things for themselves.

I like the occasional owl, but the owl merch situation is even worse, and my mom started buying me owl knickknacks which could not be allowed to continue. So I started buying her owl-themed things and loudly reminding her that "YOU LIKE OWLS," until she agreed to not buy me any owl things any more as long as I stopped too.
