I think that both feminism and the reactionary manosphere-red-pill stuff is retarded and ultimately does more harm than good for gender relations as issues should be resolved as a compromise instead of a conflict like it seems these movements push towards.

Physically abusive men represent the extreme end of a spectrum of abuse. I think all men to some extent unintentionally and perhaps unknowingly make it difficult for women to be seen and heard, tend to discount what they say, and kind of crowd women to the borders of the conference room. There's a lot of controlling boyfriends out there, a lot of bosses who think their female employees' appearance is a core competency of her performance in a job that isn't modeling or acting or whatever. There are precincts where the police put their sexual assault cases on the backburner forever.

Anyway, I'm not asking about the contents of the Man-Hate thread, I'm asking you if you like women or not, and optionally, why.

She wasn't always obese. In her late twenties, her Dutch husband pimped her out in Amsterdam, beating her up if she didn't comply. Andrea's mistake is a lack of funds for travelling; she got stranded in Greece and then again in Amsterdam trying to get back to Amerika.

But honestly, it only makes sense that people from either group would get offended at blind hate for their gender.

Whatever collection of points have been made on either side probably have some form of validity in some cases, but mostly does not apply to the majority.

Men obviously like women, and those who screech at them mostly do out of resentment for feeling rejected, hurt or inadequate. I think the same goes the other way.

I do think that women tend to behave differently to aggression. To begin with, my own experience is that women tend to take things much more personally than men do and it weights in the way they react to the perceived violence.

Other than that, I don't see any objective gratuitous violence, verbal or otherwise aimed at women in my daily life. KF does not count, and I am sure you can see why.

I don't even think that the whisper, apology or shrinking is a desired feature in women for most men. On the contrary. If you are smart, there is nothing stopping you from standing your ground without having to resort to making it about gender.

I work in an industry that is primarily male, or at least the corners I've chosen to work in. My gender does play a factor on how I get along with my male coworkers but it is not the only factor. There are times being the Smurfette is a big advantage but if I let that go to my head, men will attack me in a way that they think it will hurt. To avoid this, I treat men like normal people and don't try to manipulate them. Most men adore me like a sister. Some just treat me human. Others don't like that I am a woman. We are coworkers in a competitive field, you have to learn to like the taste of a shit sandwich and appreciate any goodwill handed to you.
