People rehoming their pets on craigslist are usually in the middle of an eviction or moving across-country saga, or at the very least have some kitties who do NOT like each other and are cleaning up a lot of pee. They're in an emotional state, and usually busy with bigger concerns.

I used to buy furniture on craigslist a lot. As much as you might like that chest of drawers, sometimes you can just tell from the writing in the listing that the seller is going to be difficult or crazy. It's even easier to tell with cats, because the person will write about why the kitty is nice and then justify why they can't keep it. That's a big writing sample to give you clues if someone is going to provide a seamless cat transfer. A persxn could scan the "free cat" ads for one that already mentions the cat being up-to-date on shots, or having vet records. People do know that's a selling point.

I've said it before but I don't think there's anything strictly wrong with writing about or reading fucked up shit. Sometimes its cathartic. Sometimes its necessary to tell a story. Sometimes its just a fun artistic experiment to see how far you can push yourself or your characters. Ao3 has a very in-depth tagging system and, similar to the Farms, a culture of 100% personal responsibility for what you click on and what you see. In fact ao3 has a filter system that is good enough that you do not have to even scroll past the things you dont want to see, provided you take responsibility for your own experience and turn the filters on. The tags are as much advertising for degenerates as they are a warning to others to stay away.

Contrast that with some of the stuff that is posted completely openly by other cows where anyone can come across it randomly and be jumpscared by tranny dick or whatever. Or, for a literary parallel, picking up a copy of the critically beloved, highly lauded book "A Little Life" only to suddenly and without warning find yourself embroiled in 800pgs of graphic child rape and irredeemable torture porn. The post was from 2019 and I've since edited my post to reflect that. Perhaps they still lurk. Or perhaps not. Regardless, you never really stop being a shitlord once you start no matter how many hail-trannys you say in repentance.
