If you’re on boomerbook check out the Action for Alice page. It shows how feral the NT has gotten with black laws. A 14 year old abo can steal your car, drive around smashing buildings, cars, people, whatever, but they’re not allowed to be held in custody. They get driven home (if they have one) and literally go out and do it all again. Yet another brotha at work no longer works here. This is like the 8th black dude in the last 4 months to work here for like a week and then either quit or get fired for shitty attendance or poor performance and it's baffling.

We're desperate for shop guys, and it's the single most laid back shop job you could ever want. Good pay, all the voluntary overtime you could want, very easy going shop boss who's more than accommodating in regards to whatever shit you may have going on at any time, and a really solid group of dudes who really know their shit and are more than happy to train you and help you with anything if asked. It's as low stress as possible and friendly as shit. All that's expected is you fucking show up on time and do your damn job.

Yet in my 5 years in the shop, and my 3 in the lab, not a single nog has lasted longer than 2 months with the overall average being no more than 2 and a half weeks. And when asked why Daquandis isn't here anymore it's ALWAYS because their work fucking sucked, like having to scrap 80 out of 120 shieldings, or they just constantly called in. I dont fucking get it.

I can answer this. They thought it would just be moving things around all day, not actually working on production. When you put them to task on something requiring actual effort, they suddenly want to leave. Some people think shop work is just sorting finished product, putting the product into a box then shipping it out. I am sorry for reducing your faith in humanity.
