Law Nerds Clips hasn't posted in 3 months and everyone else stopped doing the work after he told them to fuck off. It took him months to even post about not streaming on locals and he is so lazy he can't post it on twitter. I haven't seen a new piece of fan art in a year. Would anyone submit pieces if Nick asked?

From 2006-2018, nothing about Nick's employment, where he was living or his expenses suggests he was financially independent. He was in a large and expensive house beyond his means right out of college. NOT just in terms of needing a co-signer for a loan, but it seeming not to have the money to make the loan payments himself.
He lived in big houses, has an army of children, supported from marriage a stay at home wife and worked three years in low-level jobs in his adult life. He also both went to law school and after law school had enough money to set up his own office space in a strip mall and employ an admin for his law office.
There is just no way to make anything about his life add up but for the fact that he was being supported by someone elses money.

This makes sense but the problem is that there are so many moving parts in the ongoing Nick Rekieta trainwreck that a statement that vague could be so many things.

A sudden nanny resignation definitely fits with what he said though, but we'll have to see if Nick mentions having a nanny, driver, or snack purchaser in the present tense anymore.

One of the things I did consider is bad news from his parents that they wouldn't pay for something but I would be surprised if it was the nanny. They may well have some understanding of how critical an outside adult is or was to that household.

He made this claim for months or years. In particular, when Nick's thread was still in Multimedia he would bring up criticism of him in his thread (even constructive criticism in the form of "Nick should do X") and sarcastically refer to it as coming from "social media experts" or simply "experts". He rebranded them "prudes" for about a month after the bottle-in-ass incident, but then stopped because he decided to start pretending that he didn't read his thread.

The whole point of these asides were that he was a bona fide social media expert who knew way more about things because he made a ton of fucking money on YouTube super chats. (Note: He made $0.00 in YouTube super chats on his latest stream.)

If you look back 2 years or so ago you will be able to find him talking repeatedly in this vein of how he makes tons of money therefore must know what he's doing.

The only way Nick has a ghost of a chance at a new rumble contract is if he slaughters it on on a trial in the next couple weeks, and then I expect it would contain all kinds of terms about having to do trial streams.

My pet theory is that Nick is too fucked up to do one due to a combination of his mentals, his crippling addictions, and his wife's unwillingness to let him fucking work. And he knows it, at least in the back of his head. Every time he does a trial stream it seems to precipitate some huge drama bomb in his life that is centered around his wife.

It's his fault because he's clearly gone 15 years or whatever not putting his foot down to let it get like this, and Nick seems generally spineless and constantly in search of shortcuts. But I do feel a little bad for him because I'm sure he feels like he's caught in a horrible double bind of "if I go do work my home life goes to shit, and if i take care of home i don't get any work done."

I don’t think it’s that other people won’t let him “work” when “work” is to talk to a camera.

He also complains about having to give his kids rides to things, usually in a context when he’s trying to explain how horrible busy he is.

Considering the amount of vacations he’s become accustomed to, the fact that he more and more seems to be on drugs when he DOES get in front of a camera, it’s easy to believe, probably most ACCURATE to believe, that he just is trying to absolutely maximize the amount of time he has to do nothing but fiddlefuck around, and he’s essentially calling out sick for 40% of his shifts.

I have kids that I have to drop off and pick up from daycare every day and I work six days a week in a factory. My sympathy level is way, way in the red
