Elliot Page / Ellen Page - Former actress, starred in Juno. Turned into a pooner and divorced her wife because being a lesbian was not boosting her career anymore. Receives a daily dose of asspatting from Hollywood. Likes to show off her "male" body using fake abdominals.

Nice to see Ellen join the touring cast of Book of Mormon. Heard there was a vacancy in the chorus.
Her standing position looks like that of Chris Chan's standing position

For Page, these experiences of rejection and violation are incorporated into a story of latent maleness — or rather, of boyness. As the title suggests, there is little interest in being seen as an adult male. Even his new name, Elliot, is inspired by the boy hero of Spielberg’s E.T. Ceasing to be a woman confers a sort of immunity to time. Carl, who transitions in midlife, is spurred to take action by impending menopause: “I knew menopause, becoming an older woman, would kill me, that menopause would shove my femaleness in my face in a way that would make me too sick to live.”
From this UnHerd review of Pageboy. I'm sure I remember her saying she didn't want to be an old woman herself but I can't find it now. She experienced a lot of vulnerability & exploitation when young, she had an ED and self-harmed, and becoming older would put her back into that vulnerable physical state that she's trying to avoid. I think the public & industry attention from successful projects probably gave her some clout and temporary immunity from predation and she knew she was on path to losing that too. There's not a lot of roles for older women, and the ones that do fit a particular image of an older woman - e.g. meryl streep - not like tiny doe-eyed Ellen.

She said it in the big Esquire piece where she was on the cover, “The Euphoria of Elliot Page”.
Yahoo News covered it and honed in on the aging woman quote.

Just to add in there's a teaser still from one of the Umbrella Academy episodes, and Ellen looks tiny compared to the entire rest of the cast

Fucking hell I feel second-hand embarrassment for her, the pure embodiment of cringe. She also looks absolutely miserable in the promotional posters, 41%ing getting closer, lads.

Would be intersting to observe the link between troonery and Peter Pan syndrome.
It's everywhere, especially with TIMs. None of them want to transition into a woman, they all want to transition into girls. TIFs occasionally describe themselves as men but much more frequently they want to be boys.

Discomfort with the effects and emotional meaning of puberty has gotta be if not a majority then at least a plurality driver for internet-era transitioning. Troons love cartoons and stuffed animals and childhood imagery to a pathological degree. It's very, very common.

Add to that Ellen's cachet being entirely wrapped up in being a cute waif, and the fact that Hollywood abhors a woman over thirty, one could see why womanhood is a terrifying prospect for her.

Also in Ellen's case she's never outright said that she identifies as a "trans man" - she's just "trans", "queer" and "non binary " with he/they pronouns. Lots of articles call her a "trans man" because she's going mostly by male pronouns, a male name and taking hormones/had surgery to look more masculine, but that combined with the fact she's never stated herself that she wants to be a man or even a boy is a telltale sign that this is all being done as an escape from womanhood.

lol, I watched season 3 of this series and its funny how the literal faggot in the show (the leftmost one in the pic) still looks and acts more masculine than Elliot, who the show seemed to want to portray as this badass manly man.

The vibe I got was more like a 12-year-old with progeria smiling for some inspiration-porn article in a women's magazine about how they're totally a happy normal kid (despite being too fragile to participate in literally anything and peers only ever including them in anything once they've been scolded to be nice to the freaky alien kid since they'll be dead by 20).
