I actually loved Shipwrecked 64 myself, it avoids a lot of the worst stuff of the genre and has a few actually novel scares. I’m not looking forward to the video at all, though, especially since he announced that he’s finished recording narration, which comes out to… 40 minutes.

In other words, 4/5ths of his upcoming video is going to be not narrated at all, most likely just stream clips or, as usual, just the content itself played with no commentary.

Is not even like a hard story to understand, it's actually pretty straightforward but you need to complete it to get to the smoking gun. I wasn't actually expecting the jumpscares since they started showing up like 10 minutes before I was done.

As a sidenote, I love both versions of this game, mainly because they actually try to look like the source material and because they released a complete product instead of updates on top of updates adding more "lore" and shit. Everything you need to get the full experience is there.

Honestly I used to look forward to hour long Nightmind videos, but the fact its livestream crap is honestly souring the mood.

Saying Shipwrecked 64 actually looks like an N64 game just screams "I'm younger than the PS2". It looks like it was sloppily thrown together in Unity with a VHS filter over it to make it look "authentic" (Retard Alert: That came from the TV, not the games. Playing it on an emulator as the game tries to convince you would not replicate that effect). Texture quality is all over the place and way too high. The font is hilariously high-res. Didn't even bother to try and match the 64's infamous 11 FPS standard, instead choosing silky-smooth floaty unity movement. The Noid 2 made a more convincing attempt and that was a shitpost game.

From there, anything that can't even bother to look like the thing it masquerades as isn't worth my time. I don't care how many demons the game has in it or how many devs mysteriously died during development, it's just going to be another poor attempt to look like a period piece from an intensely overused medium. My apologies to the zoomers among us who have never actually seen a Nintendo 64 in real life or a game being run on it outside of 5 second clips from an iceberg video.

They didn’t say it did, they said that it tries, which is more than its contemporaries at this point. I’ve seen enough pixel filters slapped over otherwise completely modern graphics at this point that even this amount of effort makes it stand out among the others.

(The facade soon breaks anyway intentionally with certain scares and puzzles that could… not exactly ever work on a N64, as an overall metanarrative unfolds.)

Time doesn’t matter. They can leave if they don’t like what the person makes. Time doesn’t pay bills or keep a roof over your head, and people want a living, not a parasocial relationship, not idolatry from someone they will never meet.

The same people to bitch about muh censorship are the ones who won’t pay to stop it from happening. The content wasn’t important enough to them to put a stake in, so they can fuck themselves.

It would be one thing if it were someone famous making music or some shit, but it’s a youtube channel or a podcast. Without people willing to pay money, they will never grow. What kind of cunt would sit there and bitch and moan instead of actually help?

It’s fine to be a viewer who is passive, but do not complain when the person you don’t give any support to has to make adjustments to keep making money. Spooky face and safe scary that’s plagiarizing an old classic creepypasta without the elements that make horror actually disturbing. More I see analog horror, YouTube still bitches about Urbanspooks. I think the YouTube horror community found it's own Mr enter. Mr enter thread on this site fascinating. It went from making fun of Mr enter to realizing his hatedom far more autistic and bigger lulzcows than he is. Especially after the 9/11 turning red exposed anti-Mr Enter fandom having literal MAP activists, trannies and meth heads with fucked up teeth. If anything, I have a feeling one of the anti-Urbanspooks YouTube Channel will be the first grooming scandal of the community. Especially when there are people like Hey Petter in the community. Dude is pushing 40, thinks sonic.exe scary. He is obsessed with anything Mario and sonic-related creepypastas and defends being an old fart that thinks kids Creepypastas are scary. Hey Petter also has a Chris-Chan thing going for him in believing all religions, aliens and cryptoids are connnected to one super secret religion.
