My uninformed speculation is that he had to focus on someone in his family and their feelings and needs for ~a week (probably Kayla after she got pissed about his behavior with the swingers [I wonder if the swinger weekend overlapped with the nannies' work schedule and her getting exposed to that led to her quitting]) and spent the whole time seething with resentment over the burden that was on him, and so yesterday he finally felt he'd done enough to deserve a return to his previous pattern of behavior, and so he got extra drunk to punish whoever it was that had the audacity to require him to focus on them. The seethe stream was him using everyone else in the world who has tried to suggest that he behave responsibly as a scapegoat for the person in his personal life.

This is a good theory, especially given the recent Steeltoe clip that he reached out to Kayla, and she was cool to him.

Did Nick ever regain his equilibrium following the swinging stream and whatever medical emergency made him have that 3-day medical leave of absence? I can think of a few things that Nick could be seething about that have happened since then to trigger last night's meltdown (legal mindset mocking him and making a million dollars, coomalot leaving him on read, Jim making fun of him, whatever happened with his case about Monty that had a hearing on the 17th if I remember correctly).

Nick was specifically seething at Null and Kiwi Farms in a very weird way.

I am not really sure what happened on KF since Nick last stream which would cause him to melt down like this. There was the discovery of his piss filter and the bruise he was trying to hide, and the piss filter was gone last night but the bruise is not, wouldn't surprise me if he was seething about that. There is also Nick's cancellation and speculation surrounding that. I think @John Andrews Stan had a good shout with one of the dreaded personal issues being the nanny gone, but I don't see why either of that would make him flip out on their own. He has kept cool even as much more embarrassing things were discussed on his thread.

One thing that I think is important is that at the start of the stream Nick signaled pretty hard that the person with the ongoing issue is his wife.

I don’t think it’s the stuff we’re getting right but rather the fact that we see him and his situation for what it is. Nick has always been extremely invested in projecting a false image of himself and KF done blown that up. Of course he’s seething.
