She is drawing on cardboard since she "can't fake cardboard" and to demonstrate/prove logically that by not tracing/referencing/stealing her doodles today she did not trace/reference/steal someone else's work in the past (multiple times). Such stunningly irrefutable logic that only her mind is capable of contemplating.

I think the narrative has remained unchanged; it's her unique word/grammar choices that muddy the interpretations a bit.

"They" is a bit unclear, but is likely referring to Lamby instead of "trolls". Now on her second upload...
