Normally yes, but this was a Japanese parent company dealing with American/Western talent and social media was involved, not only that but before the firing there were already plenty of rumors around a potential termination or that management would renege on payments to third parties that helped the talent perform (think the people who do art, rig the models, etc.), the only reason Nijisanji had to put out a statement about them being terminated to begin with was because they handled it like the absolute retards that they are, most of the situation had already leaked and the termination was just the match that lighted the fuse.
