edit: moving update
"We move in 5 days, we have nothing to stir with, and not even a pitcher for Kool Aid for my nephew and me. I hate my mother sometimes"

:story:

He is really using the inability to pull a pitcher out of a box to make Kool Aid every day as a reason to beg for a new one. This may be the stupidest food related e beg since the $50 lettuce and tomatoes or the six slices of toast tweets. I'm sure Denise has more food than mac n cheese in the house, and is smart enough to leave out plates and utensils (regular or disposable) for meals until the day of. Y'know, since they're regularly used until then. And even then, packing and moving is a time where most meals being convenience foods makes sense. Why beg for mystery "protein" to cook when it's easier on everyone to get takeout or bake frozen nuggets and fries? Now would be the perfect time to double down on Doordash, not asking for pet carriers and Kool Aid.

edit: so I see he decided to beg for frozen nuggets. And wtf re: the cats. What's next, will they have 15 inbred cats like Polissa?

Haven't even moved yet and already pretending that all their stuff has somehow disappeared? The desperation is real.

"We don't even have a WOODEN SPOON to STIR OUR DAILY SAUCES. I also need $32.41 for...ice cube trays and, uhhh...a potato masher. People use those, right? My nephew will starve without these necessities that up to now have not been a problem, but you see, we are MOVING in SIX DAYS. On 26/02/2024. I wrote the date like that because I am very smart, you see. Money, please. My nephew will soon perish without a garlic press."

Is he just begging to buy new versions of the stuff that they packed? Where are the utensils supposed to have gone?

only $40 to get the shield some lettuce and tomatoes, yinz guys!

I love that Lou is acting like his mom hasn't already found a place for the Gagliardi's to move, though this is probably to try to sympathy bait people into thinking him, the shield, and all of his cats (why, in Lou's own words, does a person who has to beg online not only have eight cats, but rarely grift for cat food anyways?) into thinking he's about to be homeless.
Woe is Lou, he has to act like an ADULT at the age of FORTY.

There's no way in hell that Denise, as white trash as she might be, is going to let the Shield starve. Lou, maybe. It's one of his worst grifts imo and while most are funny in one way or another, this one is implying malice on her part, which irks me. What, she's going to eat and no one else is? Projection much? When was the last time he asked for food money to feed her? No, it's always "___ ate my sugar slop and took my ipad at gunpoint please feed my nephew I'm so disabled I need to EAT". I know that she's a piece of work but Lou is several orders of magnitude more so than she could ever be.

When a piece of media drops the at times hyperbolic line about a character trading their dear mother for something cheap, remember that he'd sell his family a dozen times over for a pizza. They offer him nothing besides the value of the material goods they provide him.

Excuse my tangent as this has been on my mind for a long time:
Denise is a piece of work but she stepped up for her grandchild who was doomed by addict parents. A common theme within white trash. Shield isn’t the only kid being raised by grandparents.
Her and coach did NOT have to step up if they didn’t want to. They are old and coach is actively falling apart. I am sure it’s a struggle to maintain caring for shield then caring for coach. Shield has school and sports he’s doing. Coach has doctors appointment and medical equipment to maintain. She may have done fucked shit along with creating Lou but I hope she is doing the right thing with shield. Kid doesn’t deserve his situation or the people he’s around. Unfortunately it’s better than the unknown of foster care.

Lou? Lou has done nothing for this boy. He has done nothing to help care for this kid. Maybe he interacts with him sometimes, clearly not often. He has actively expressed malice and contempt against this kid. Maybe he’s actually bought him McDonald’s here and there. Here’s your 4 piece nuggie while uncle Lou eats his 40 piece, two large fries AND a shake. Lou sees him as a pawn. People feel bad for kids. Use that for quick cash with ease. Lettuce and tomato please? New kool aid pitcher???

Many farms threads have innocent children involved in some way (primarily beauty parlor) and shield is one of them. Lou tries to paint as if he cares for the boy. He doesn’t… I do feel bad for him, Lou…. But I am not giving you money for new weasels.

One thing I want to point out is that by Lou's own admission, Denise does not trust Lou with the Shield alone whatsoever.

I don't blame her. Not saying he's a kiddie diddler, but he has a temper. He strikes me as the type to hit a child because whatever reason.
He's talked about wanting to punch Skyler in the past for getting on his nerves, and five will get you ten he's either actually done it or threatened to do it, considering his temper, past incidents with attacking people, and utter lack of impulse control. I wouldn't trust him to watch a hamster, much less an actual human child.

He would punch a plant if he tripped over it.

Wait wait wait I thought they gave away the kittens or am I retarded?
Lou got it into his head that Christians were going to use the kittens in rituals or some shit like that. In reality he’s just greedy and selfish and didn’t want to give them up.

Can't even imagine having a complete neet 40-year-old son living with you while you cannot ask, or even worst trust, him to help you in anyway. No childcare, no helping crippled step-dad, no helping with cooking or chores, no yardwork or even attempt at handiness, no cat care or litter box scooping. She raised him absolutely but god damn, I'd just kill him if I made that and had to reap the consequences.

I bet he would kick the cats if he could but he makes so much noise they they know when to fuck off.

Not helping with the move falls under that umbrella. There's not a snowflake's chance in hell that fat Louie is helping to move furniture down two flights of stairs.

"Gosh, Uncle Lou, could any of those guys you stay up late making animal noises with help us? Your box spring is too awkward for me and Grandma to get down these stairs"

"Ehem, those are girls and so am I. You wouldn't ask a lady to pick up heavy objects, would you? You'll never have a girlfriend if you keep that attitude."

Lou is a shame on Uncles everywhere. I'll give Denise her due, she cares about the Shield enough to take care of him. Lou wouldn't have and didn't step up.
He changed what his fursona looks like AGAIN???
Priorities man. He just HAS to buy new art.
This was her ideal opportunity to rid herself of Lou, why on earth is she taking him along? The only reason I can think of is if she gets some kind of welfare for having him around, but good grief, the door is right there Denise.
Love is a strange thing man. Even when your child is a lazy sack of shit. I think just simply, white trash sticks together.
