A thing worth mentioning that made Urbanspook call that horrortuber an autistic furry cunt is the fact that Pastrami or whatever the horrortuber's name didn't even talk shit in a regular way, but in a very terminally online zoomer way that oozes with passive aggressiveness, with extra dose of pussyfooting and backpedaling because they want to have the cake and eat it too, an example of this type of shit talk is something like:
"I think Urbanspook's series is a massive pile of shit filled with ""problematic"" edgy content for sake being edgy, with nothing worth saying legit one of most dogshit worst serious out there.. but that's just MY opinion..There are plently of series that are actually good unlike that

Basically be the most vitriolic person you could ever be, but akshually you're not that because you ended it with a "But" or "That's just my opinion" so you're clear.
There's a massive difference in saying "Hey, I think this series is way too edgy for my taste but that's just my opinion on it", leaving it at that and then just going "I think your series is the most AIDS infested thing that's somehow even worse than Mein Kampf and you should kill yourself.. But erm.. But that's just my opinion and no harsh feelings : )"
So yeah, good on Urbanspook for choosing to leave this community completely once he's done with his series, because I wouldn't want to associate or be around disingenuous passive aggressive autists who are one discord server away from ordering homebrewed troonshine.

Well I mean, the issue is layered.
- These people have numerous avenue streams. Patreon, Ko-fi, merch, etc. Some outright stream and earn money there as well. But they still pearl clutch about not getting money from YouTube.
- That said, youtube's bot is very schizo and will outright take down entire videos for bullshit. So even if people pay for it, via the aforementioned revenue stream, it won't do anything about the content.
- On the other hand, it can feel disrespectful when talking about real crimes. Feels like it dumbs down the impact of events.
It's been discussed endlessly through the thread for numerous pages. You might wanna go back and read them but the gist of the matter is the internet dogpilled him for their dislike of his content, including other horotubers and then Wendigoon did the shit piece and the Pastrami bullshit happened.
The issue boils down to the fact that it's "too tasteless and edgy" for them. Which is bullshit when you consider what the rest of the community produces. It's just hypocrisy. "Child murder and gore and suicide are cool and all rape is bad". That sort of nonsense.
Wasn't there an analog horror thingy with a blue cat that was used to shill for tranny rights?

Why the need? If someone likes something and wants to see it grow, awesome, they don’t have to put money into it. There are a lot of channels I like that I can’t afford to put money towards and I think that doesn’t make someone a worthless viewer either. It’s completely fine. I guess it just seems like a waste of time for people to do that.
What I don’t get is people who have money bitching about something they put no money into and essentially leech off of for entertainment and who feel angry over something they refused to support. For me, if I dislike how a channel or podcast changed, I won’t listen to it anymore, that’s it.
