I remember back to the "Ronversations" Nick did years ago, and while they eventually got super old and tiring, I did watch a number of them, and there was something I got from them that makes it even more disappointing what Nick is these days.
Nick would make the point that Ron trying to be this woke male feminist cannot simply erase the fact that he is a man capable of beating women with remotes. Ron would constantly claim that he's changed, and is better now. Nick would respond saying that if you did something horrific in your past like that, and you go on trying to pretend that you're somehow incapable of doing those things today because you've "changed", then you are doomed to repeat those things again because you are, at the very least, capable of considering such an act to be a reasonable response to a situation, but because you don't even consider the possibility due to arrogance, it might just be a sudden impulse to do it again.
Maybe it's just autism and over-analyzing things, but that's something I actually took away from those streams, and considered it to be a valuable life lesson I try to keep in mind today - to always remain aware of what kind of things you need to be mindful of doing, and what you're truly capable of.
Things like that make Nick an even bigger disappointment to me, What a colossal fucking faggot to go from that, to this. That drunken disaster stream to the very next stream acting like nothing is wrong.
