Recliners yes. Beer, not where I'm at. Only ever seen that at Alamo Drafthouse (and you can order a whole fucking meal there).

Quality depends on the theather but most have nice reclining seats and some good grub and drinks, mainly cocktails. I go to see the special rereleases, last year I saw oldboy, and usually a nice burger with onion rings cost about the price the popcorn and candy.

I do it all the time, in fact if I actually care about a movie I'd rather see it alone and give it my full attention. Especially anime, especially if it's subbed. In the last year I watched a shitload of Ghibli + Satoshi Kon, The First Slam Dunk, Blue Giant, Suzume, Ghost in the Shell, Cowboy Bebop, Gurren Lagann, and even met a nice girl at Tunnel To Summer. Had a great time. It's fine, stop giving a shit.

All that said though, NGE is gay cringe for pseuds and masochists. Pick something better.

No one cares what you do. I know I sure as fuck don't. I doubt anyone IRL cares either. If you want to go to a theater to see a movie alone then do it.

I have to wonder why you would bother though. Most movies are garbage these days.

Just wait till it gets released to home video and watch it at home. You can even pirate that shit.

If you are going to theaters to watch nue-movies you might as well just grow your neckbeard out start practicing soylent grin and posting on Reddit.

Me too but because I enjoy horror movies which means I watch a lot of pure garbage and I don't blame my friends for not wanting to see that.
