Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Looks more like a rout than a retreat, in fact it looks like a rout of a border fortress force, leaving other area forces totally unprepared to face the enemy.
Whatever that was it wasn't a retreat. It was slaughter.
The road out was littered with dead soldiers every few meters. Thousands and thousands lost just because the jew wouldn't call a retreat while there was still time to do so.
Did anyone actually make it out alive? (aside from the people that surrendered)

Yeah, that's normal for a rout. Other indicators include the opposition force making large gains, and breaking unprepared backing forces.

The very first thing to plan in a retreat, is the location you're going to retreat to, and it looks like the backing forces holding towns were just garrisoning. I'm wondering how much they were gassed up with "hey all you have to do is secure from penetration by special forces, they'll never push past Avdiivka."

Is that supposed to be reassuring? I’d be terrified if someone told me to hold a town from a pack of roided out war criminals.
Compared to the only other choice, being fed into the frontline meatgrinder, trying to get into an APC in the middle of a minefield while the world laughs at you for stepping on a mine right before you make it?

There are levels of bad shit.

At least on the front I’m facing normal soldiers rather than the “special forces” psychos, and it’ll probably be easier to call Volga on 149.200 and save myself than if I’m sitting behind hostile (ie my own, the life of the Ukrainian is depressing) lines.

The first thing you would think is "Hey, what are the chances Russia deploy Spec Ops to this particular farming town of a few hundred?"

Our flag is again over the enemy positions. The troops liberated the village of Lastochkino, where the enemy tried to form a new line of defense after the loss of Avdeevka.

It is also reported that assault groups of the Russian Armed Forces managed to enter the center of Rabotino in Zaporozhye. The armored vehicles of our forces are already arriving there to suppress the firing points of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Link

RuAF making progress south of Bogdanovka; Due to the very high number of wounded Ukrainian military personnel the hospital in the city of Chasov Yar was closed to ordinary citizens.

Yeah I find that bizarre since most have never even met Ukrainians or Russians IRL.
I had a Russian teacher for a while. My sister knew an Ukrainian one, and even gave her some souvenirs.
The Ukrainian one had intersting insights, basically confirming that Ukr's been doing what's reported ↓ for a while.
And yet it's Ukr celebs that are never critical of their country province, even abroad.

I could build one with an ESP8266 and some cables, if jamming backpacks become common equipment not countering them is down to failure of creativity.
⏰, but can you make one out of sticks?
[sorry uploading didn't work, and nitter's "rate limited"]

WWII sperging got this thread to 1k. Yay?

From Listening to the reports today:

- Ukraine still can't stabilize the front behind avdiivka. They keep losing positions that they shouldn't be losing. They keep getting pushed out of good, strong seeming defensive positions in villages in what are shorter amounts of time than usual.
- Robotyne has either fallen or just about fallen. The Russians also took the fields to the east of the village and are on three sides now. There is also a video of Russian armored vehicles driving around on the inside of the village. Unless the defenses were generally down, they wouldn't be driving around like that. It seems like they were mopping up at least the entire southern half of the village. There was also a video of Russians landing men successfully right in the city center. Its not over, but the Russians are well established in half the village now.

-Israeli F-16Is take cover on IL-22 from S-200 missile, deploy S-300s in syria because proofs were on s-400 radar
-same shit happens again with an A-50 getting hit by S-200 and blaming friendly fire again.

They got S-300 and S-400 systems up the ass with no shortage in Russia, maybe start using those systems. I don't think any technology would be compromised by soviet s-300 systems.
