Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

he USAF would be a nightmare to fight, even with upgraded S-400s. Even if they could, Russia needs a strong America to contain China.
Its hard to comment on how much S-300s or S-400s were even used to down Ukrainian aircrafts where there are only conflicting reports yesterday between either a Il-76 or A-50 getting downed by an S-200 in the war and these systems are not known for having IFF capabilities but they have shot down an F-16I before in Syria which has EW capabilities for a 4th gen aircraft and made one of the aircrafts take cover towards an IL-22 in syria forcing russia to supply S-300s over there. For a 1960's air defense it gets the job down but not a lot of reports on S-300 or S-400 being used to down any aerial target. They got like over 1000 S-300 launchers and 456 S-400 launchers with enough fire power to put up a fireworks show and the systems can also work with their aircraft exchanging radar control information. They also have the leisure to send long range missiles to airfields resupplying any kind of Airforce with fuel or weapons. I still have question marks if the F-16s will even be supplied if there will be a last-minute decision for an excuse why they can't supply it.

and these systems are not known for having IFF capabilities
I was actually pretty sure they have automatic IFF (by S-200 at least surely) as standard and you cant normally fire on a friendly target unless there was a malfunction or you do some procedure to ignore the IFF interrogator

e: may or may not have in 1964 when S-200 was first deployed but afaik they have been upgraded many times since then, some kind of IFF is a really basic thing especially for an army that makes heavy use of conscripts

This, I have to disagree. Russia and China both know America is still the strongest nation (with the stupidest leaders), which is why they're working together now. They both know they can deal with each other diplomatically and that is the first bulwark against war, which isn't the case when talking to the US. A strong America is ultimately a strong Globohomo, which Russia definitely doesn't want and China doesn't like that it's centered in the US. As the US found in its Pivot to Asia, containing China isn't really worth the trouble when weakening the US serves Russian interests more.
I think both of the arguments are true. Russia wants a Multi-Polar world order. The US is exceptionally retarded for making an enemy out of Russia and pushing them into the Chinese camp. Russia would also like a strong Europe that is independent of the US. Russia doesn't want any of Eastern Europe really and an Economically strong Europe would buy a lot of Russian natural resources and serve a close source of things like tooling.
I still have question marks if the F-16s will even be supplied if there will be a last-minute decision for an excuse why they can't supply it.
I think barebones F-16s will be supplied. Not that it would change much. F-16s, especially because they are older than they used to be, require a lot of maintenance and Ukraine only has a handful of pilots that speak English well enough to be trained.

The S-300 and S-400 are good air defense. But the US has thousands of fighter air craft. You can't just shake that off so easily.

Things have really taken a turn for the worse after they replaced Z-gen. It is a tragedy with brother killing brother just to stroke the jew-dwarfs ego refusing to negotiate a peace deal.

I wonder if they will accident Z-gen at some stage. A lot of people and troops are surely associating everything turning to shit immediately after he was ousted and I can well see some thinking about couping him back into power.
Possibly Z-gen will need to be accidented so he is off the table for a future coup.
The thing is though Zelensky has control of the SBU. I don't think anyone is going to be able to coup him. The SBU gets fully equipped for a reason.
These patches are made by a organization called Russian Heraldry (Telegram). They make patches for Russian forces operating in Ukraine, so in this case, drone operators, but most of their work is pushing for Russian cities and oblasts to have coat of arms dating back to Imperial times (or having a Imperial-style) due to its more Russian identity.
This is super neat. One of the good things about this war is Russians growing more conscious of their own history. I think Russian Pride was a big wounded by the 1990s and early 2000s, but it seems like this has changed.
2 years since the start of the SMO time flies when you're stuck in trenches I suppose hopefully this will end sooner than later but that's probably just my optimism talking.
I think it will end soonish. My prediction from several posts ago suggests about 5 months and a three weeks left. I might be off by a month or so but the timeline is lining up. I may have even been a bit pessimistic with how good things are looking in Avdeevka. There are good signs developing.

Whatever you guys do, do NOT tell Null

yeah but the Russians are not like the serbs and iraqis who didnt even have what was considered a long range air defense system like the S-200 chances of S-300s and S-400s shooting them down would seem a little higher. Nor did they have access to missiles with 1000kms ranges to target airfields with aircraft resupplying on fuel and weapons. Assuming if 1000 F-16s were to be used in ukraine with 1000 trained pilots being claimed as mercenaries it will be at that point the russians would not give a fuck who they would hit because it would be likely civilian aircrafts will not be in the airspace anyways and the Russians have 1000s of missiles with conventional warheads that have over 1000km ranges to target the aircrafts, ammunition and refueling stations through satellites or monitor the aircraft traffic with OTH radars that has the capabilities to see 1000s of aircrafts flying and wherever it lands will be the targeted coordinated positions by missiles.

its like people are having the assumption here that Russians will fight fair and not target airfields or hangers with missiles that fuel and supply aircrafts. Whatever exists of the Ukrainian Airforce at this rate is nearly gone with not much of a threat to Russian ground forces and what is left they would probably want to use drones over expensive missiles if they keep grabbing ukrainian territory.

Oidyissa.

At the risk of being labeled a nerd, it's starting to a lot like the peninsula war after Wellesley landed in Portugal.

You can throw poorly trained and equipped bodies into battle by the thousand, but if your supply lines are harassed by Spanish partisans and/or khinzal missiles it's not going to end well if your opponent understands pincer movements.

What does "Odeza" mean? Is it some sort of rude word?
Back in the before times, dear feeder banned someone for spelling Odessa as... well, Odessa.

I think his hatred of Washington and/or Nuland has grown enough that I can say that

I'm risking my life here, BTW

Edit: sorry, double post

Russian artillery systems "Coalition-SV", which will soon be used in the zone of the special military operation (SMO) in Ukraine, have huge potential and can significantly affect the current situation. This was reported by the Defense TV YouTube channel on Tuesday, February 20.

"Russia will throw into battle a heavyweight, the 2S35 Koalitsiya-SV howitzer, which can make a turning point on the battlefield. This is one of the deadliest Russian artillery systems," the video emphasized.

The howitzer is equipped with a chassis, which is a modified version of the chassis of the T-90 tank, which indicates high strength. The Koalitsiya-SV fires 152-mm shells at a distance of up to 70-80 km and at a speed of up to 15 shells per minute, the channel notes.

Dmitri Kulebinskiy's full scale invasion of Kyiv's McDonald's supervised by Blinkenstein while consuming Ukrainian french fries without ketchup. Slava McDonald's. Heroyam chicken nuggets.
Speaking of Blinken, how can one man be so bloodthirsty actively gloating the death of Russian people and simmultaniously be like "P-please, don't use gendered language among the s-staff it might hurt somebody's feelings?"

So the author suggests that any peace deal that requires Ukraine to accept new borders is simply impossible for Ukraine. But that they should negotiate some sort of agreement that would amount to a temporary ceasefire. Though he doesn't say it, a cease fire that would allow Ukraine to join NATO, re-arm and presumably accomplish total victory in a few years.
Putin made it clear there will be no Minsk III.
The stupidity of these people
But in the West that's exactly who gets ahead in the Russia field; the ideological brown nosers, not people who are the most knowledgeable or insightful. The stupid twits with a degree(s). They want people who will toe the party line and tell them what they want to hear: Russia is weak, Russia is poor; Russia can and will fall. America is superior and unstoppable. They put the Communist Party political commissars of the past to shame with their fervor and dedication.

The Anne Applebaums with friends at the Atlantic are the ones who are shilled ad naseum; meanwhile, respected Russia scholar and professor John Mearsheimer is ignored completely because he says the same things we here have said in this thread; that Russia will win, Ukraine will suffer and lose and the West is doing more damage to itself/Europe than it is to Russia.

The West long ago abandoned truth and demands obedience to its ideological superiority above all else. Late stage Capitalism is here.

I found some videos people here might enjoy/find interesting.

This is a video of a Russian X-35U Anti-ship Missile destroying a Ukrainian P-18 Radar. Russia did this because the missile flies really low making it very hard for the radar to pick it up. It fed into the rumor that Surovikin is still doing things behing the scenes. This clever use of an unorthodox resource sounds like something he would do.

Video of Russians using thermals to target and kill a Ukrainian Drone.

Russian T-90 getting hit by what I think is a TOW missile and then a Ukrainian FPV and being unaffected.

I'm noticing a lot of these videos of people handing out mobilization papers getting the shit beat out of them. I've noticed these people travel with armed guards now. Does not say good things about morale.

Oh I expect they absolutely would. Soviet aircraft were extremely rugged and could take off from a relative flat piece of dirt but the F-16 is not. My comment wasn't really about this war. It was more about a potential War between the US and Russia. You can have really good stuff and even stuff better than the enemy but until you degrade their capability you will be in a rough situation if the enemy has enough stuff. Russia has had better artillery than Ukraine this entire time but Ukrainian Artillery is still a headache to deal with.

That was a real faggot thing to do. On the other hand he hasn't done it in a long time it seems and he managed to beat the troon DDos to the point I can upload videos again so I can't be annoyed at the guy.
